My name is Shae and I'm a Canadian Veterinary Technician (equivalent to Vet Nurse) with 15 years experience in veterinary emergency care. I worked for the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (Canada) as an ICU tech and have experience managing every pet health emergency and chronic disease imaginable. I have been pet sitting for the last 17 years independantly, primarily senior animals and pets needing at home medical treatment for diseases like kidney disease, urinary issues, diabetes, heart disease, and adrenal diseases. I know personally how difficult it is to leave your home and pets (with or without special needs) with someone you dont know well, and I strive to put people at ease with my knowledge, compassion, and experience. I maintain an active lifestyle and love dog walking and exploring new areas of this beautiful city. I have lots of personal experience caring for reptiles and exotic pets and don't have any fear of snakes etc. Ive made caring for animals and working with their owners my top priority, and would be happy to speak with you about your pets personality, habits, and care needs, as well as report any potential concerns found during my time with your fur babies should they come up. Due to my own senior, special needs pets I am currently unable to pet sit under my own roof, but am able to travel to your location for pop-ins and visits.
