Hello! My name is Roxanne, but everyone calls me Rox. I’m a 27-year-old Canadian-Uruguayan currently living in Dublin 2, and I joined this platform for one simple reason: I genuinely love animals.

Growing up, I was surrounded by pets of all kinds. From powerful breeds like two Rottweilers and a Dogue de Bordeaux to my beloved dachshund (the famous little “sausage dog”!), I’ve had experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. My family has also always had cats, and throughout my childhood we cared for birds, lizards, and other small furry companions. Because of this, I’m comfortable looking after a wide variety of animals and adapting to their individual needs. I’m definitely not a “dog person” or a “cat person” I love them both equally!

One of the most meaningful experiences of my life was volunteering in Uruguay by fostering orphaned and abandoned puppies. Many of them had been found on the streets without their mothers and required intensive care during their first weeks of life. I helped bottle-feed them every few hours, monitored their wellbeing, and provided the attention, warmth, and comfort they needed to grow strong and healthy. It was a huge responsibility, but also one of the most rewarding and beautiful experiences I have ever had. It taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing animals with safety, love, and consistency when they need it most.

I speak four languages and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to every pet I care for. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, exercise, enrichment activities, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I offer in-home pet care as well as 30–40 minute walks around the city, with a preference for parks and green spaces where pets can safely explore, exercise, and make the most of their outdoor adventures. Every walk is adapted to your pet’s age, energy level, personality, and routine.

For me, caring for animals is about much more than affection. Their safety, wellbeing, hygiene, routine, and emotional comfort are always my TOP priorities. I understand how important trust is when leaving a beloved pet in someone else’s hands, and I treat every animal as if they were part of my own family. I am responsible, reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to keeping pet parents updated so they can have complete peace of mind.

Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, a senior dog, an independent cat, or a small exotic pet, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own <3
