🐾 About me

Hi, I’m Roberto. I live in Viking Harbour, Dublin 8, in The Liberties and just across from Croppies Acre Memorial Park.

I offer dog walks, day care, home visits, feeding and company. I can also help with cats and other pets when the care needed is a good fit. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so I’m open to discussing different pets too.

I live on my own and I don’t have any pets at home. My place is quiet, and the park is just across from me, so walks are easy and natural.

Outside work, I’m also studying, I train CrossFit most days, and I enjoy walking, cooking and travelling when I can.

I’m new on Pawshake, but I’ve always been good around animals. When I’m out walking, dogs often seem comfortable coming over to say hello, and I’ve always liked that.

🐕 Dogs and cats

I’m happy to look after small and medium dogs, and calm larger dogs too, as long as they are friendly and comfortable around people.

For dog walks, I can offer 30 or 45 minutes, depending on your dog’s routine and what works best for them.

I also fostered cats through CDPA while they were waiting for their permanent homes. One of them, Nova, was shy at first and used to hide under the sofa. I gave her time and space, and after a while she started coming to me every morning when I woke up. I like seeing animals settle in at their own pace.

🏡 My home

For day care at my place, I would keep it to one dog at a time, unless two dogs already live together.

Dogs can rest indoors in a calm space. Before confirming a booking, I’ll always be clear about my schedule, how long your pet would be with me, and what the day would look like.

Before confirming a booking, I like to know a bit about your pet’s routine, personality, walks, feeding, behaviour at home and anything important I should be aware of.

I’ll keep you updated with photos and follow your instructions carefully.

I know leaving your pet with someone new is a big thing. I’m happy to meet first, have a chat, and make sure you feel comfortable before booking.
