I grew up on a farm in the Brazilian countryside and have been around many different kinds of animals since I was a child! I have dogs, lambs, and horses as pets… I've been working hard here in Ireland precisely to bring my dogs here too! I currently study in the afternoon, so I'm available to work in the morning and after 5 pm, both for walks and for going home to feed and pet the animals! I know how to administer first aid and I also have a policy of contacting the family and the animal's veterinarian in case of emergencies (which we hope won't happen). Each animal has its own behavior, but the important thing is knowing how to keep them calm during contact, whether through words, affection, or firm instructions!The walks are scheduled with the family depending on the size and age of the animal; larger and younger dogs walk more, while smaller and older dogs expend energy sniffing, but the routine set by the family is what will most determine the distance, duration, and pace of the walks, but on average the tours last an hour!
