Hi! I’m Shimone, a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Dublin 01.

I’ve grown up surrounded by cats thanks to my mum, who is a true cat lover, so understanding feline behaviour comes very naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities – from energetic kittens to senior cats, including shy or more anxious cats who need a calm and patient approach.

I have cat-sitting experience both in the UK (Brighton) and here in Ireland, where I’ve looked after cats in their homes and adapted to their individual routines and needs.

With more nervous or shy pets, I always take things at their pace – giving them space at first, using a gentle tone, and building trust gradually through consistent, calm visits until they feel comfortable around me.

A typical visit usually lasts around 30 minutes, but I’m happy to stay longer if needed. During that time, I’ll feed your cat(s), clean the litter tray, refresh water, and spend quality time with them – whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet company.

I’m comfortable administering basic medication (such as oral medication or creams) and following specific care instructions carefully.

For dog owners, I’m available for walks and basic care. Walks are usually between 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s needs. I have experience with different temperaments and can reinforce basic training such as leash manners and simple commands in a calm and consistent way.

I’m attentive and responsible, and in case of any emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. If needed, I’m happy to take your pet to your preferred vet.

I’m flexible with availability and always aim to follow your pet’s usual routine to keep things as stress-free as possible.

During each visit, I’ll send you updates with photos and messages so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

I’m respectful of your home and can also help with small tasks like watering plants or bringing in post.
