Hello, lovely pet owners!

My name is Alexandra. I’m a 26-year-old non-smoker, and I’ve been living in Drogheda, Ireland, for over two years.

I grew up on a farm in Hungary, surrounded by animals—horses, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats… you know, the usual farm life! Later, we moved to the city, but we always had dogs, cats, and rabbits at home. Pets have always been part of my family and my life.

Unfortunately, my current lifestyle doesn’t allow me to have a pet of my own, and I really miss having animals around. That’s one of the reasons I decided to become a pet sitter—it gives me the chance to spend time with them while helping other pet owners.

I usually work Monday to Friday. During weekdays, my partner may occasionally help with pet sitting if needed, but weekends are completely free, and then we can even look after your beloved pet together. I’m happy to care for the lovely everyday pets, but I have to admit I’d rather keep a respectful distance from more exotic animals.

It’s also important to me that your pet is house-trained.

I live in Drogheda town centre, but don’t let that worry you—there are several parks within a five-minute walk, so your dog will still have plenty of opportunities for walks and fresh air.

Your pet will always have company while staying with us and will never be left alone.

We love long walks, which can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pet’s needs and routine.

Our apartment is on the second floor. For small dogs, we’re happy to carry them upstairs if needed. However, if your larger dog is unable to or uncomfortable using stairs, we may not be the best fit.

You’re more than welcome to bring your pet’s favourite toy or comfort item to help them feel relaxed and at home during their stay.

I’ll do my best to reply to any questions as quickly as possible, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member as if they were my own.
