About me

Hi! I’m Ophélie. I’m naturally calm and patient, and I love making animals feel safe, relaxed, and happy. Sadly, I can’t have a pet of my own right now (renting rules), so caring for other people’s animals is the next best thing. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own: with attention, love and cuddles (if they’re into cuddles 🐾).

I’ve been living in Dublin for over 6 years now, but I’m originally from the French countryside. I’ve always loved animals - when I was about 12, I even did a short internship in a dog grooming salon, which only made me love them more!

Experience with pets

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for quite a few companions:

• Mimi and Juno - two adorable Staffy sisters I regularly dog-sit. I stay over with them while their family’s away, and stick to their structured daily routine: meals, walks, play time… plus plenty of affection and trick practice!

• Mac - a sweet Jack Russell who I cared for over 5 years. He was my best comfort buddy. I taught him how to give paw and helped him overcome his fear of stairs (big win for tiny legs!).

• Louna & Jack - my family’s Border Collie and Border Collie-Shepherd mix. Whenever I visit, I love walking them, playing in the garden, and even going on hikes with Jack.

• Jonesy - a friendly ginger cat who visits almost daily for cuddles and treats. He isn’t mine, but he seems convinced otherwise!
