👋 My name is Sorcha and I've spent the last 30 years with animals my life. I grew up with cats (at one stage 15) and dogs in my family home, with the odd rescured rabbit and birds. I'm from the country so naturally spent time on family farms, helping with milking the cows and assisting during lambing season. I also spent 5 years horse riding, so I've had experience with a wide range of animals.

🐶 My wife and I currently have one dog named Koshi. Koshi is a rescue from Bulgaria that we found in a field while we were living there. We brought him back to Ireland and have tried to give him the best life.

Koshi is the reason I signed up for Pawshake. When trying to find somewhere for Koshi to stay during my wedding weekend, I struggled to find a kennel that was good enough for him and that would work around our schedule (we wanted him to be in the wedding). I turned to Pawshake and I found a lovely gentleman, who had his own dogs, not far from our venue, that would mind him for the weekend. He sent regular updates and photos and I felt so reassured that Koshi was being treated well and being cared for by someone that loves dogs as much as me and my wife do.

I want to be able to offer that same reassurance to dog parents that when they're at work, out for the evening, or away for a few days, that their dog is being treated as they would at home, and that they're part of our family. They don't have to worry about finding a kennel, that their furbaby will have a comfortable place to sleep and get lots of cuddles, kisses and walks.

🐾 Services offered: Dog sitting (min of 2 walks per day), daily walks with home pick-up, home visits and playtime, overnight stays and weekend doggy minding (in my own home or the dog's home).

Location: Stonepark - 5 mins outside Longford town.

🏡 Setting: a dog friendly home with a front and back garden and constant company. I live in close proximity to the canal so your dog will be brought on regular walks.
