Hi there! I’m Yuri, and animals have been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family home was always filled with the joyful chaos of pets. My parents kept several cats, and during my childhood, I happily raised four dogs alongside a wonderful crew of felines. This lifelong bond with animals taught me from a very young age how to understand their needs, respect their personalities, and give them the genuine affection they deserve.

Today, my passion for rescue animals continues. I am the proud owner of Pandora, a beautiful 20-year-old cat who has been with me since her mother was adopted into our lives. I also share my heart with Julie, another sweet cat who is now 9 years old. Julie was part of a litter of six kittens that we took in. We successfully found loving homes for all her siblings, but she officially stole our hearts and became a permanent part of our family.

Because of this deep, personal connection, I don't just watch pets, I truly care for them. I am highly attentive to their well-being and incredibly strict when it comes to keeping their environment pristine, ensuring a clean, hygienic, and stress-free space for everyone.

 Dealing with Anxious or Shy Animals: Having shared my life with rescues and a 20-year-old senior cat, I know that every pet moves at their own pace. I never force interaction. For anxious or shy pets, I use a calm, low-energy approach, letting them come to me when they feel safe, maintaining their exact home routine to minimize stress.

 Managing Multiple Pets: Growing up with a house full of animals taught me how to manage different personalities and energy levels at once. Whether it's ensuring they eat separately to avoid food competition or balancing a high-energy dog with a quiet cat, I keep a watchful eye to ensure total harmony.

 Safety During Walks & Visits: Safety is my top priority. During dog walks, I strictly use secure, double-checked harnesses and leads, stick to safe, familiar routes, and never let dogs off-lead unless in a fully secured, designated area. I also make sure they stay hydrated and check the pavement temperature to protect their paws.

 What a Typical Visit or Walk Looks Like: A standard drop-in visit includes a thorough safety and well-being check of the pet, fresh water and food top-ups, meticulous litter box or waste cleaning, and dedicated quality time—whether that’s high-energy playtime or gentle companionship. For walks, it's a structured and engaging routine tailored to your dog's stamina and pace.
