Hi! I’m Jakob, a 23-year-old student (and dog walker:) from Slovenia. I’ve spent the last two years living in Dublin, studying acting at The Lir Academy. I come from a family of animal lovers, and over the years I’ve taken care of both our family pets and my friends’ dogs and cats.

I have experience dog-walking and pet-sitting dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic, playful dogs who need longer, active walks to calmer or older dogs who prefer a relaxed pace and extra patience. I’ve walked small and medium-sized dogs, as well as stronger dogs that need confident handling and good leash manners.

I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs. For example, I’ve handled dogs that pull on the leash by keeping walks structured and calm, and I’m happy to give extra reassurance to shy or nervous dogs until they feel safe and comfortable. I always pay close attention to a dog’s body language, energy level and routine, making sure they feel understood and cared for.

As a reliable and enthusiastic dog walker, I love keeping dogs active, happy, and safe. Every walk is tailored to the dog—whether that means a longer, stimulating walk with plenty of sniffing time or a gentle stroll focused on comfort and routine. Your dog’s safety, exercise, and enjoyment are always my top priorities, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.

A little note: as I am very busy with college during week-days, I can walk the dogs only after 8pm on those days. :)
