About Nelida
Hi! I’m Nelida Belen, a gentle and trustworthy pet sitter who truly understands how important your furry family member is.
Animals have been a big part of my life. I grew up with a poodle who needed special care after a stroke and later during cancer treatment, so I became very patient and attentive with pets who require calm, loving support. I’ve also cared for cats and dogs with different personalities — shy, energetic, nervous, affectionate — and I always adapt to what each animal needs to feel safe and comfortable.
My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed, understood and happy while you’re away.
I follow their usual routines (meals, walks, playtime, cuddles, quiet time) and I pay close attention to their body language so they never feel overwhelmed. Whether your pet needs slow, gentle company or active play and stimulation, I adjust to their rhythm.
During visits and walks, I focus on:
• keeping their routine consistent
• making sure they eat well and stay hydrated
• giving lots of attention, comfort and enrichment
• keeping you updated with messages and photos
• respecting your home and your instructions
I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I want you to feel completely at ease. I’m happy to do a meet & greet so your pet can get to know me first.
