I've been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, growing up in a home where there was always a furry companion underfoot. That lifelong love for animals is what brought me to Pawshake: I want to give other people's pets the same warmth, patience, and attention I'd want for my own.

I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, boarding, and house sitting, so whatever your pet needs, there's an option that fits. Walks typically run 30 to 60 minutes and are paced to your dog's energy, whether that's a brisk loop around the block or a slower sniff-filled stroll. Drop-in visits are usually 15 to 30 minutes and cover feeding, fresh water, a bathroom break, and some playtime or cuddles. For longer stays, I offer overnight boarding in my own home as well as house sitting in yours, so your pet can stay somewhere calm and familiar while you're away.

I live in a cosy apartment without a garden, so I'm best suited to smaller dogs and calm cats who are comfortable in a quiet indoor setting; I'm not the right fit for very large, high-energy or reactive dogs who need lots of outdoor space. My schedule is generally flexible across most days of the week, so do reach out with your dates and I'll do my best to work around them.I got my start pet sitting for a friend’s cat, and from that very first visit I was hooked. Watching a kitty go from cautious to curled up on my lap was all the confirmation I needed, this is something I want to do more of. Cats just get me and I get them.
