Hi, I'm Róisín, a 32-year-old animal lover living in Dublin 6.

Growing up with dogs, I have always been very comfortable around them and understand the care, attention, and companionship they need. I regularly look after dogs for family and friends, including rescue dogs and those who require a little extra patience, care, and TLC.

I work full-time for a charity, primarily from home, which gives me a flexible schedule. I am generally available mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I can often adjust my working week to suit a pet's needs. If your dog requires more company and supervision during the day, I can usually arrange my schedule accordingly.

I offer dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, home visits, and house sitting. My services include feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, regular toilet breaks, and plenty of affection and attention. I am happy to administer oral medication if clear instructions are provided. While I am not a professional trainer or groomer, I am comfortable reinforcing routines and basic training that owners already have in place.

For home visits, I typically stay between 30 and 60 minutes depending on your pet's needs. During visits I can feed pets, refresh water, clean food bowls, spend time playing with them, provide companionship, and give updates to owners. I am also happy to water plants, bring in post, and help with other small household tasks while you are away.

My dog walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the dog's age, energy level, and owner preferences. I am lucky to live in a dog-friendly apartment complex with its own park, and there are several excellent local parks nearby where dogs can enjoy walks, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs can be kept on lead at all times if preferred. For dogs with good recall and owner approval, there are suitable areas for playing fetch and off-lead exercise.

For house sitting, I can stay in your home during evenings, overnight, and for extended periods where required. I understand the importance of keeping both your pet and home safe and secure. I will follow all home security instructions, ensure doors and windows are locked, keep routines consistent, and treat your home with the utmost respect.

While most of my pet-care experience has been with dogs, I love animals of all kinds and am happy to care for cats too. I will always follow your pet's routine and individual needs to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after.

Before any booking, I like to learn as much as possible about your pet. It is helpful to know their personality, routine, exercise needs, feeding schedule, and whether they enjoy the company of other dogs or prefer their own space. Every pet is different, and the more I know, the better I can make them feel happy and at home while in my care.
