I'm Megan. I've been a veterinary nurse for 7 years now, mostly dealing with small animals. And I have pet sitting experience of about 3 years between here in Ireland and also in New Zealand, where I spent the year of 2024 in. I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I have 3 cats of my own at home and two ponies along with another cat that lives in the yard and 2 family dogs too. I'd love to help you out by caring for your pets while you're away and giving them all the cuddles and attention they want. I'm also happy to give any medications and exercise your pets as much as they need! I will be working part time (3, 5 hour evening shifts a week) and also studying part time (though not in the summer) which can put me out of the house for about 5-6 hours at a time, so I may not be able to offer the kind of stay that means animals are accompanied 24/7, although I will always aim to leave them for as little time as possible! I would also like the opportunity to have my partner stay over with me on occasion as pet sitting cuts into the time that we can spend with each other. The care of your animals would only be positively impacted by this as it will mean extra attention for them!
