Hi there! My names Elodie, I'm a Carrigaline-based student and proud cat owner. I have plenty of experience with minding cats and dogs of friends and family and I'm looking to put my servies to use even more!

I have an adorable cat of my own named Bijou whom I maintain a high standard of care for and I always treat the animals I mind as if they're were my own. I've grown up around cats and dogs both docile and rowdy so I'm well able to handle anything that comes my way.

My services include pet minding (in house and check ins) and dog walking. Check ins will take 20-40 minutes as I'd be ensuring all is well sanitation and alimentary wise. My rates are in my profile. 🫧🦴

Unfortunately I am unable to host any pets in my own home as Bijou doesn't take kindly to other animals (she's quite territorial 😅)

My usual routine for check-ins is coming in and being sure the door is closed behind me (prevents escapes!), filling in food and water bowls in accordance to the owner's instructions, and cleaning utensils and surfaces after use. I pick up any excrement and bin it using tissue, bags and gloves and change litter boxes. I always take time to play with the pet(s) in question and make sure they're doing alright!

I can do up to two visits a day, in the morning and evening around 8-11 am and 5-7 pm. Or midday if there's only one daily visit required. I've cared for high energy kittens, calmer elderly cats, calm dogs and loud jumping dogs so don't be afraid to give me a call if you have a 'difficult' pet, I've most likely seen it before 😂

Then depending on what the owner prefers, I let the pet out to back for some air , or if they're staying outside I just leave them out. I have minded two dogs with very little training, they stayed in the home's enclosed back garden and were always a delight to spend a bit of playtime with in my visits. I'm very good with handling strong pulling dogs who want to try break loose to run, there's little risk of one pulling loose from my arm as I'm experienced with strong doggies.

Don't worry if your pet requires a specific or strict routine, I'm very good with following detailed instructions. Any medication or special dietary requirements can be administered easily.

Throughout the time pets are in my care, I make sure to send the owner pictures and videos along with updates about how the pets are doing and if anything changes or goes wrong. I'm quick to act in difficult situations. In case of emergency that is above my control, I will keep calm and focused, alerting you or a given emergency contact living in the area and a trusted veterinarian.
