1️⃣ Who I am:

I am Mia, a software professional living in Shankill / south Dublin / D18 in a spacious duplex. My current job is 100% Work From Home.

I have had a passion for animals since I was a kid. My friends say I have a special talent for communicating with animals and I'm the pet whisperer🐶🐱

2️⃣ Why I'm here:

Being with animals is very important to my life. I love dogs and cats but can't have my own yet because I'm not ready for such a big commitment due to the possibility of relocation in the future. So I'm here looking for an alternative solution to get the companions and cuddles🥰

Working remotely all the time is lonely and my doggie residents keep me company perfectly. Walking them forces me to get out from staying in the house working all day .

It's been rewarding. I've had pets before and I understand how it impacts your life, whether it's a holiday you've been wanting, or an unexpected event you have to attend. When I send updates to the owners, I can tell they are relieved and can focus on their holiday - you can have pets and also enjoy a nice holiday with your loved ones.

3️⃣ Why choose me:

Every pet owner has said I'm so responsible. I'm extremely knowledgeable when it comes to pets, also particularly interested in dog training. I observe everyone's unique personality and give them what they like based on their behaviors. It's a great feeling when I can tell they feel relaxed and loved at my home. I have connected greatly with every dog I have had (often very attached), and always look forward to them coming back. They are always overly excited when they come back to me🤩

4️⃣ Where your pets will be staying:

I live on my own in a duplex with lots of space for my guests. I don't have kids or pets. 

Dogs love to sleep on the couch in the living room or the sofa in my home office, depending on where I am🤣. At night I usually keep them downstairs in the hall, where they can hear/smell me upstairs with my bedroom door open.

I work fully remotely, so my furry housemates get to see me almost all the time. My partner Richard can also come to my place to walk them if I need to be away in odd days.

5️⃣ What I do and not do:

House-trained dogs only. Vaccinated pets only. No aggression. No destructive behaviors.

I usually don't board pets from different owners, simply because it's hard to know if they would get along. Occasionally if I'm confident two dogs I know will be ok with each other, I can take two (max) for a short time period.

I take a lot of photos and videos of them, and update you every day hoping to give you some laughs during your holiday. If the weather is nice, I like to bring them to an open field nearby, Shankill Beach or go to Bray so we both have some fun🏝
