Hi, I'm Hema! Animals have always been at the heart of my life, and caring for them is something I take genuinely seriously — not just as a job, but as a real passion.

I work at Maxi Zoo, which means I bring professional knowledge of animal behaviour, nutrition, and wellbeing to every booking. Whether it's recognising signs of stress, knowing the right food for different breeds, or simply understanding how to make an animal feel safe and comfortable, that experience makes a real difference. I take time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and personality before we get started, so they're always in familiar, reassuring hands.

I care for both dogs and cats, and adjust my approach depending on their needs , dogs get structured walks and active playtime, while cats get a calmer, low-intervention routine that respects their space and comfort. For high-energy dogs, I make sure there's enough exercise and mental stimulation built into the day so they're settled and content. For first-time boarders or nervous pets, I take things slowly, using calm body language and a low-pressure environment to help them adjust at their own pace, drawing on techniques I've learned at Maxi Zoo.

During boarding, pets follow a consistent daily routine , morning and evening walks, regular feeding times, and plenty of playtime in between. I'm home for most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone, and never for more than around 4 hours max. My home has a secured balcony, and sleeping arrangements are flexible based on your pet's preference. In any emergency, I have a local vet contact on hand and will always keep you informed straight away.

I'm currently not able to care for very large dog breeds or pets with complex medical needs requiring specialist handling, just so you have the full picture upfront.

I'm available weekdays and evenings, full-time, and always happy to arrange a free meet-and-greet beforehand so your pet can get to know me first.
