My name is Valeriia and I’m originally from Ukraine. I recently completed an Animal Care Level 5 course in Ireland, where I worked with a variety of dog breeds — helping with grooming, feeding, and general care as part of my training.

In Ukraine, I had my own dogs — a Shih Tzu, a German Shepherd, a Caucasian Shepherd, and a Rottweiler. I raised and looked after them myself, which gave me real-life experience with dogs of different sizes and personalities.

I also helped on my family’s small farm, caring for goats, rabbits, and other animals. This taught me a lot about daily responsibility, patience, and reading animal behaviour.

Now I live in Manorhamilton and have a car, so I can easily travel across Sligo County. I really enjoy outdoor walks and would be happy to bring your dog to the park or even to the beach if they love nature.

I always try to make animals feel safe, happy, and loved — just like I did with my own.
