About Rachel
Hello! Rachel here, a little about myself, I love to keep myself busy by being in the outdoors in the evenings and weekends, a furry friend is usually in tow with me. I have grown up with dogs all my life and would love to welcome your dog. I am used to medium/ large dogs, particularly golden retrievers! But am also fond of small little ones too which I would love to have the opportunity to mind for you.
I live in Booterstown, Co. Dublin which is a lovely location nearby the sea. I live with my fiancé who is equally as much of a dog lover as I am! I work during the week as an occupational therapist and love to spend my evenings and weekends enjoying the outdoors. We live a ten minute walk from the beach in south county Dublin and also have an enclosed dog park nearby in Mount Merrion which is fun to visit!
I really enjoy walking and I'm happy to provide exercise for your dog during their stay. I’m happy to walk them for 30-60 mins, depending of course on your preference. If your dog has any preferences for playing or feeding please let me know.
We have a lovely cozy sitting room where dogs usually like to lie in front of the stove fire for that extra comfort in the winter months. You can see some pictures of the house and garden in the gallery of photos. I’ve also included a photo of the enclosed dog park which is nearby.
We have a medium sized garden which is safe and is enclosed by a wall and fence if your dog likes to spend time in the outdoors they can potter around out here as much as they like!I have plenty of experience with minding dogs and am available weekends, Thursday- to Sunday’s for either overnight stays or for daytime minding. We are also available for weekday stays, my fiancé works from home Monday to Friday and so any dogs staying will have constant friendly company :)
I would be open to taking 2 dogs maximum at one time. I would ask that you let me know about any behavioural issues.
You are welcome to bring along their bedding, crate, toys or anything else that might help for their stay.
