Hi! I’m Ailise, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a qualified Veterinary Nurse, with a degree in Veterinary Nursing from UCD and a Master’s in Animal Behaviour & Welfare, so caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy, it’s something I’ve built my life and career around.

I currently work in an emergency veterinary hospital, and over the years I’ve cared for all sorts of animals in veterinary hospitals, rescue centres and wildlife rehabilitation. I’ve also spent time working in wildlife rescue in Portugal, which taught me a lot about handling animals with very different personalities, needs and backgrounds.

I’m particularly passionate about animal behaviour and welfare. I believe every pet is an individual, and I’ll always take the time to get to know them rather than expecting them to fit into a one-size-fits-all routine. Whether your pet is confident and sociable, nervous and needs a little more patience, or simply loves a good fuss, I’m happy to work with their personality and routine.

I’m also a dog owner myself, so I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your pet. I’ll treat your animals as I would my own, with patience, kindness, plenty of attention and, of course, lots of cuddles where they’re wanted! 🐶🐱

My veterinary background also means I’m comfortable recognising when something doesn’t seem quite right and handling animals who may need a little extra care or reassurance.

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, happy and comfortable while you’re away,and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. ❤️
