I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I genuinely love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different routines and needs.

I’m based just outside Athy, Co. Kildare, and I’m happy to travel 20–30 minutes to care for your pets in their own home. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, including overnights, day sits, and walks.

I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes—from giant breeds to small breeds—so I’m confident handling energetic dogs, senior dogs, nervous pets, and homes with multiple pets. I’m patient with shy or anxious dogs and always let them settle in at their own pace.

I also have basic training knowledge and always try to reinforce the routines and commands your dog already knows, such as sit, stay, lead manners, and recall practice during walks.

One example of a situation I’ve handled was caring for a nervous dog who was unsettled when their owner left. I stayed calm, gave them space, kept to their usual routine, and after a little time they relaxed and became comfortable. I understand every dog is different, and I adjust my approach to what suits them best.

For house sitting, I plan my day around your pet’s routine and spend most of my time with them, only stepping out when needed. I usually offer 2–3 walks per day depending on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level. I can house visit as much times as you request.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. If there was ever an emergency or your pet seemed unwell, I would contact you immediately, keep you updated, and take them to your preferred vet (or the nearest vet if urgent) if needed.

For day sits and overnight stays, I usually send regular updates every 2–4 hours with messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.

My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for like one of my own.
