I have my own cats and have experience with petsitting and dog walking since I have always had pets growing up and have been petsitting and dog walking for more than 5 years. First in France, then the UK and now Ireland.
I am reliable and friendly and just wish to help you relax while away, knowing someone caring can look after your pets at the comfort of their home or take them for a walk while you are at work. I am usually available in the afternoon, evening and during the weekends.
I can offer overnight stays where I look after your pets and your home.&nbsp;
I can do up to 15days of consecutive home-sitting, some days I can be with your pet all day, others I would have to work around other jobs and petsitting needs.&nbsp;
I do not offer housecleaning services, but will clean up and tidy anything directly related to your pets. I can also water plants, bring in mail and send you updates in relation to any issues in your home.
Cat feeding and playing slots are approximately 1h.
Dog-walking slots are 1h, usually around the owner's home, but car-trained dogs can be taken for longer walks in an area close to the owners' home.
Options for day sitting for several hours can be discussed.
I cannot accept pets at my own home and I cannot administer injected medications.

Hi I'm Sydney, dog mom to my amazing shepherd mix, Rufus. I have been a dog lover my whole life and recently moved back to Ireland after 6 years in Canada. I now have my own dog walking business and am so fortunate to have my full time job being surrounded by the most amazing dogs! My life is very dog friendly, however my housing situation right now will not allow for doggie day care. Instead I offer walks and house sitting, depending on availability.&nbsp;
I specialise in adventure walks which are such a fun time for all the dogs! These adventure walks can involve up to 6 dogs and we may be in the woods, by the water or in the mountains. These walks are 2-3hrs including pickup and drop off. They also include super fun updates, never ending wagging tails and end in a very tired, happy dog returning home! I am fully insured for your peace of mind. Please bear in mind, these adventure walks are only suited to well mannered, social dogs with exceptional recall and leash manners. If your dog doesn't meet this criteria,  don't worry! That just means a solo walk would be better for them. Solo walks will still be a great time! These walks will consist of lots of scent stimulation, updates and will also end with a tired, happy pup on retun back home.&nbsp;
I am an all round dog lover , but having lots of experience with larger breeds and strong dogs sets me apart from other sitters. I currently have quite a list of different breeds I walk weekly. These include; German Shepherd, Rottweiler cross, Bernese Collie cross, Labrador, Golden Retriever, American Akita, Collie, Goldendoodle, Miniature Dachshund, Jack Russell cross, King Charles. Lots of high energy dogs so I guess you could say there's not much I can't handle !
You can be sure your dogs are in great hands when they're with me. We'll have a woofin good time and they will return home ready for a nap! My energetic personality is a great match for the dogs. Walks often include my own dog to tire your pup out with lots of play during our adventure!  I'd love to offer my services when your schedule gets crazy. I trained my dog Rufus myself and he has a great temperament. He loves everyone, other dogs and children. As far as experience goes, I have been dog walking for 2 years which has been great and extremely rewarding. I was heavily involved in both family dogs growing up too. Our family dog now is 5 and I helped train her , along with getting her over her fear of water. We walk and adventure together regularly. Our childhood dog was also a best friend of mine. I have cared for friends dogs in my own home while living away, along with walking friends or neighbour's dogs while they were working or injured.
If your dog has any special dietary restrictions (treats/food given on walks), behavioral issues or problems with interacting with other dogs etc, just let me know and I'll be sure we are all safe and comfortable. I will always propose a meet and greet before the first walk with your pet. This ensures the dog can get familiar with me, get a feel for me and me for them, and gives us a chance to touch base and finalize expectations etc.

My father is a veterinarian and was he that teached me the love to animals. When I was child, I had rabbit, chicken, dogs, cats, and turtles.&nbsp;For my live in Dublin, I had to leave my cat (Milo) with my parents. It is lovely Siamese cat; I miss him so much.Always I have had contact with animals and I am very lovely, respectful and know and understand their conduct. I have 2 dogs.&nbsp;
The older one was trained to be a therapy-dog (I'm working as a spec.ed. teacher), but we decided not to take the exam at the end. Also, we competed in a European champion hungarian flyball team together. From her, I learned tenderness, endurance and teamwork.&nbsp;
The younger one is my little monkey. He has serious confidence-problems which caused fear based reactivity unfortunatelly. We train, we fail, we train again and one day we are going to succed, but giving up is never an option. I spent endless time and money in different dogtrainers, seminars, tools to be the dogmomma he deserves and who can help him through the difficult times. Fortunatelly, it seems that I have found the right training method for him and slowly but surely we can record more and more successes. From him, I learned what hard work means and that every dog has different personalities and different training demand.&nbsp;
Before I took in my older dog, I was a puppy raiser for the hungarian guide dog training school. The now 7-year-old, actively working guide dog spent the first year of her life with me to have basic obedience and high level of socialization. From her, I learned the importance of the first year in a dog's life and the incredible mental and emotional intelligence a dog can have with proper training.&nbsp;
With these experiences and knowledge, I'm at the pawrents service whether it's walking, playing together, dogsitting, or basic training.


I'm Michael, in my mid 30s, and normally work as an engineer. I love hanging out with dogs and getting out for walks or runs with them, and for everyone's safety and peace of mind, I will not be bringing out my own dog or other dogs with your dog. I've had my own dog, Ruby for over 2 years now and she's my best pal, and I can't wait to hang out with your dog too. Looking after dogs is very rewarding, I love to be the one to take them for a walk when they've been sitting bored and on their own - their face lights up every time and they're always in a great mood when they get out and about.&nbsp;I'm based in Leixlip, County Kildare and willing to travel by car within a 15 minute radius (preferably not through tolls unless you're willing to pay for them on top). Feel free to ask if you're not sure if I'm willing to travel to where you are. When I pick up your dog, I'll make sure they have a seatbelt attached to their collar, and have somewhere soft for them to lay down, as well as towels to dry them off if they get caught in the rain etc, and I'll also have a few snacks for them (please let me know any dietary requirements.I normally take my dog for a 45-60 minute walk, but happy to accommodate to your dog's needs. There are a few great paved walking tracks around where I live (along the Royal Canal, at the perimeter of my housing estate, at Castletown House in Celbridge) and also a great dog park where your dog can run free and socialise with other dogs. Please let me know any behavioral information about your dog that I need to be aware of as I do not want to put your dog in a situation they're uncomfortable with.&nbsp;I'm available every day of the week, with a few days booked up (see my availability) and can work around your schedule as required with some advanced notice.I'm happy to walk any size and breed of dog provided they are reasonably well trained and behaved.Let me know if you have anything you need to send along with your dog (their leads, harness, water bowls/bottles, medication, toilet bags, toys etc.)





I'm happy to send photo updates of your pup and take them for walks local to your area or further afield, but unfortunately, I cannot offer to take dog's into my own home.

I have previously owned a pitbull and currently own a chocolate labrador called Susie! we live together with two other dogs (a german shepard named Shadow and a cockapoo named Sunny!).
My experience in taking care of dogs has all been close to home, for example minding and walking all three of the dogs while everyone in the house is away, staying in my boyfriends house when their family is gone minding their two dogs (feeding, walking, spending time with them) or taking care of my aunties three dogs and administering necessary medications for them.

I have always had pets growing up in the country side, mostly dogs, cats and horses which is made me very comfortable around animals. I currently have three family dogs at home which I love bringing for hikes to the mountains. 
I've spent some time during the summer volunteering at a rescue center in Koh Samui an island off Thailand called Happy trails sanctuary, the volunteers here have so much love for the animals and devoted all their time to them. It was an amazing experience where I learnt so much. I also done volunteer work in Kildare at the KWWSPCA waking dogs and helping with the animals.
