For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Rush for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Rush Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Rush sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ayse.
I have grown up with pups all my life. My dad used to breed German Shepherds growing up. I grew up in the city but we had our own farm where I grew up rolling in the mud with the pups.
I have been a dog owner for the past 20 years. I currently have 2 female labradors; 20 months and 9 years.
I have been a dog sitter on and off for about 10 years now. I have taken care of puppers of all sizes.
I live in a house in the suburbs very close to the beach and St Anne's Park. You can find us there with my pups pretty much every day.
I don't have kids so my pups are my babies.
I understand the feeling of leaving your baby when you are travelling or working. You want to make sure they are well taken care of. I am the same. So you can be sure that your pooch will be one of my pack when they are here.
Your pups will get three walks a day: two (1 hour walks), 1 (20 minutes short walk mid day)
I work from home so your pup will never be alone.
I live in a gated closed community that is very family and dog friendly. We have many other pooches in the neighborhood.
I also do not board or do daycare for more than 2 dogs at a time, so that makes it a total of 4 with my lovely bunch.
I would like to spend enough time with all the pooches so less is more for me.
My pups are usually under my desk, or in my bed, or on their bed when I work so yours will be my new tiny paw coworkers too during the day.
I don't mind them sleeping in my room as my puppers sleep with me. So if your babies have separation anxiety, we can all crowd in a room nice and cozy.

I’m Caroline, a true animal lover and proud dog mom to a 4-year-old Shiba Inu who has taught me so much about love, patience, and the special bond we share with our pets. Even though he doesn’t live with me, he’s a big part of my life and one of the reasons I became a pet sitter.

I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust — someone who will treat them like family. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or just a little love while you’re away, I’m here to help.

I treat every pet with kindness and respect, always paying attention to their unique personality and needs. My goal is to make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while you’re gone.

Can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the love they deserve!

Hi there! My name is Natalia and I am an absolute animal lover living here in Ireland. I have lifelong, continuous experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages. Throughout my life as a dedicated pet owner, I have gained extensive hands-on experience raising energetic puppies as well as managing the specialized care required for senior dogs. I am fully competent in maintaining strict medication routines, administering oral treatments safely, and adapting to the slower pace and specific health needs of older pets.

I offer personalized pet-sitting services, which include active daily walks, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles. A standard walk usually lasts around 45 to 60 minutes, but I always adapt to your pet's energy level. Having handled various temperaments over the years, I am very confident practicing basic training experience (such as enforcing commands like sit, stay, and recall) and handling separation anxiety with gentle, patient reassurance.

I live in a large, clean, and very comfortable house with a spacious backyard. As selected in my profile details, safety is my absolute priority: my garden is fully fenced, completely enclosed, and secure with no open areas, making it the perfect and safest space for pets to run around and play freely. Even with a secure, fully fenced yard, I always closely supervise the pets while they are outside to ensure they are 100% safe at all times.

Furthermore, because of my flexible schedule, your pet will never be left alone for long periods; someone is almost always at home, and pets are never left unattended for more than 1 to 2 hours maximum. I am fully prepared for handling emergencies; I always request the contact details of your preferred local vet beforehand, know the way to the nearest emergency clinic, and keep a pet first-aid kit at home. I am fully committed to sending you regular photo updates so you can have complete peace of mind. I look forward to welcoming your wonderful pet into my home!

A Home-from-Home Dog Sitting in Raheny
We’re based in Raheny. We provide a safe, caring, and fun home-from-home experience for your lovely pet
I have had dogs throughout my whole life and have experience with many breeds ranging from boxers, golden retrievers, jack russels and labradors.
We have a lot of experience with rescues and foster dogs and we have a solid understanding of dog training.
We share our home with our own 1 year old pup, a fully vaccinated and neutered female Boxador.
She’s friendly, playful, and absolutely loves having doggy company, so your pup will always have a companion for playtime, walks and cuddles. However if you'd prefer we minimise their time together, our doggo is happy to chill in her own space too.
Our home is ideally set up for dogs:

A fully enclosed, secure back garden for safe outdoor play
Direct access to a large green right outside our front door
Located in a quiet, secure housing estate perfect for relaxed walks
We are minutes from St. Anne's dog park and Bull island for park or coastal walks.

What we offer

Constant supervision – we both work from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone
A calm, loving environment tailored to your dog’s routine
Walks, playtime, and plenty of affection
Flexible care – feeding, sleeping arrangements, and routines followed exactly as you prefer.
We both drive if necessary during your dogs stay.
We will stick to whatever your preferences are for your dog whether it's on leash walks, games of fetch, free run in enclosed park or play in the garden to avoid other dogs.
Your pup is free to sleep wherever you wish if you want to keep to crate or free well respect either.

Requirements
To ensure the safety and happiness of all dogs in our care, we ask that:

Dogs are friendly, social, and comfortable around other dogs in the home
 All dogs are fully vaccinated
Up to date on flea and worm treatments
 Toilet trained
Your dogs preferred food and walking equipment (we have a variety of leads here but if your dog has a specific needs please bring).
If your dog has any behavioural issues, medical needs or allergies, we are happy to discuss to ensure we are suitable to manage - such things must be flagged before booking.

We always arrange a meet-and-greet in advance to make sure everyone (dogs and people) are a great fit.
️ Our promise
We treat every dog like part of the family. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, or just a cosy spot to relax, we’ll make sure they feel completely at home while you’re away.
We will be sure to share plenty of pics and videos and we'll keep you posted on how your pup is throughout their stay with us

I am a 20 year old woman, living in Clongriffin, D13. My passion for animals is represented in taking part as a rescuer in an animal shelter in my hometown, called Pongo. My biggest life goal is to create a safe space for lost, badly treated animals, and show them what love, care and life really is. Doing what I love gives me a sense of existence. I have experience in sitting puppies (feeding, walking, cleaning, bathing, playing), adult dogs (feeding, cleaning dog and its place, playing, walking), taking them to the vet to get vaccines / go through surgery. I'm familiar with extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves and winter times. Protecting them is important to both myself and the owner, so I'm happy to carry / transport them whenever needed. I am open to walking, minding, feeding, bathing dogs, cats, and any other types of animals of any breed and level of energy.

Whenever I'm unavailable, my mother is here to mind Your pet. She is kind and soft with animals, and takes genuine care of them as they deserve.

Hi there,
I’m Pedro, a dedicated and trustworthy pet sitter providing premium dog walking and daycare services with genuine care and attention to detail. I offer boarding, daycare, and dog walking services with care and responsibility. I can administer oral medication according to the owner’s instructions, but I do not provide injections. I do not offer professional training or grooming services, only basic brushing if needed. I host a maximum of two dogs at a time to ensure personalized attention. Walks usually last 30 to 45 minutes, and I provide two to three walks per day depending on each dog’s needs.

I maintain a structured routine so pets are never left alone for more than three hours during boarding or one hour during daycare. I have flexible availability on weekdays and weekends. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to supervise guest pets almost 24/7.

I live in a quiet and safe home environment with no other pets. Guest dogs are allowed to sleep indoors, either in their own beds or ones provided by the owner, ensuring comfort and safety.
My goal is simple: to give your pet a positive, stress-free, and loving experience

My name is Diovanna, I'm Brazilian, I arrived in Dublin in August 2022, I left my two dogs at my house in Brazil with my grandmother, one is called Bud (super calm, loves affection, plays with other dogs) the other is called Baly (he has a lot of energy, he doesn't stop for a minute, he loves to play, run, make a mess) I miss them a lot, they are like children to me, I receive videos from them and I call them every day, what I miss the most in Brazil are them.
I also had a cat, but unfortunately, he died of old age. I am passionate about all kinds of animals.
I would love to take care of animals here in Ireland because it would also help me to miss my dogs less, I would be delighted to walk them, take them them to play, bathe, cuddle, teach to sit, paw, lie down and jump, do general care, they will receive all the love and affection I have! to know more about me, send me an email and we can talk.
I am flexible with my schedule.
Thanks!!!

Hi! My name is Dominika, and I’ve always had a deep love for dogs. Growing up, I had a sweet little Bolognese dog who was truly part of the family. We were inseparable, and I learned so much about caring for animals from that experience. When I moved to Ireland, I had to make the difficult decision to leave my dog with my parents, as most rental flats here don’t allow pets. I miss having a dog around so much—it really leaves a gap in your daily life.
I currently work in an office during the day, which means I really look forward to getting outside and spending time with dogs in the evenings and on weekends. After a day at a desk, there's nothing better than going for a walk with a happy pup—it’s the perfect way to unwind and do something that brings me joy. I have plenty of energy and love being active, so whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, or just a bit of company, I’m more than happy to provide it.
Back when I was in school, I helped out in my auntie's pet shop, where I looked after small animals like hamsters, rabbits, and fish. It was a small, local shop, but it gave me a great foundation in caring for animals and understanding their needs. I learned how to handle them gently, keep their living spaces clean, and make sure they were healthy and happy. Even though they were small pets, that experience taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and how rewarding it is to care for animals.
That’s why I decided to become a pet sitter. It’s the perfect way for me to stay connected to animals and help other pet owners who need someone trustworthy to care for their furry friends. I’m reliable, patient, and I truly treat every dog as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet and care for your dog!
