Hi, I’m Ana, and I’ve had a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I grew up surrounded by pets, which has given me a deep love and understanding of animals of all kinds.I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, along with 5 years of experience looking after rabbits and other small animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, small breeds, and medium to large dogs, including boarding them in my home. I also have experience with puppy care and dog walking, including handling larger, high-energy dogs.In my home, I have a friendly Golden Retriever and a 2-year-old mini lop rabbit, both of whom are very sociable and used to being around other animals. They’re always happy to meet new furry friends!I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away—just like they would in their own home.I would normally provide one walk of one hour per day/ or two of 30 mins as per the owner preferences.Your pet would normally be left alone only for very short periods.I have also have a full fenced garden making it perfect for dogs and small animals.

I have had a love for animals as long as I can remember and have grown up with pets my whole life, one time with 6 cats and a dog (this was the best time)! This taught me how to understand their behaviour and meet their needs, and now caring for animals comes naturally to me. I enjoy nothing more than spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. 
Aside from growing up with animals, I have years of experience taking care of other peoples pets. I have voluntarily worked at the DSPCA to take care of animas in need, and I have previously used Pawshake for 2-3 years when I was studying abroad in the Netherlands, as I missed my pets from Dublin so much. I walked the same dogs weekly, and had other dogs returning again as their owners were so pleased with our time together. Sometimes I took care of dogs for over 1 month continuously, and administered medication as she was elderly. 
You can trust that your pet will be treated with the same care and love as if they were my own. I am familiar with many walking spots around the area and can drive safely to walk your dogs too. I allow them to settle into their environment safely and act accordingly to their behaviour and needs, as each pet is so unique and special ♡ 
I have decided to pick up pawshake again as at the end of 2025, my beloved 17 year old cat and 10 year old beagle passed away. I miss them every day and wish they could be here, but since they can't, I would love to help others take care of their furry babies and give them all the love and time I have to give. Our comprehensive pet care services encompass both day and overnight care for your furry companions. We prioritize the well-being and comfort of your pets by offering tailored services that include administering medication and providing training sessions upon request. With a maximum capacity to board two dogs simultaneously, we ensure personalized attention and care.
Daily activities involve four 30-minute dog walks, promoting exercise and mental stimulation for your pets. Our commitment to their welfare extends beyond scheduled walks; we adhere to a strict policy ensuring pets are not left alone for more than three hours during boarding and one hour during daycare. Despite our brief morning and evening absences for personal activities, the remainder of our day is dedicated to caring for the dogs.
Operating on a Monday-to-Monday schedule, our availability is consistent, guaranteeing continuous supervision for guest pets. Our home, characterized by its relaxed ambiance and spacious garden, provides a safe and comfortable environment. Co-residents include my partner, our small dog and myself, fostering a familial atmosphere.
Guest pets are welcome to sleep indoors or outdoors based on owner preferences. Our fenced backyard, equipped with secure gates, offers ample space for outdoor activities, ensuring the safety of pets with the option of utilizing a 10-meter leash for added security when unsupervised.

We are a couple living in a quiet neighbourhood in south county Dublin. No kids. We have a small dog, Nacho and a tortoise named Phillip.
Nacho is a neutered male, 4yrs old. All vaccines up-to-date and fully insured.
We have a big secure back garden (perfect for fetch!) and enjoying the sun (when it shines). We love animals and have always had dogs in our lives as children and adults. 
We both work from home full-time and love the company of any animal. So your dog will have company / supervision all hours of the day.
We love spending time outdoors and live beside the beach and lots of parks and great walking / play areas.
Most days are spent playing fetch, hanging out, walking and having a relaxing evening.

We’re a warm, dog-loving family living in a quiet cul de sac near Killiney Hill, perfect for long walks and playtime in nature. We have a small Yorkshire terrier called Luna, she’s a bit shy but very sweet and well behaved. Our 3 kids absolutely love dogs and would happily welcome more paws around the house!
We decide to mind dogs as a way for our kids to take more responsibilities. I work for home so they will never be alone at the house. 
Whether it’s for a day, a weekend, or a holiday, your furry friend will be in a happy, active home with lots of love, attention, and walkies.

We’re a dog-loving couple based in the Dublin 18 area, living with our 4-year-old pug, Toby, in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with an enclosed courtyard and a balcony. Our home is set up to be safe, calm, and welcoming, making it an ideal environment for miniature, small to medium-sized dogs.

We’re just a 1-minute walk from Shanganagh Park, a large green space perfect for daily walks, sniffing adventures, and relaxed strolls. We’re also only 10 minutes away from a dog park, giving pups plenty of opportunities for playtime, exercise, and plenty more walkable parks to adventure to.
WFH and hybrid work, which means your pup will never be left alone for long periods. This flexibility allows us to closely follow each dog’s routine and respond quickly to their needs, whether that’s meals, walks, rest time, play, or extra comfort. We have experience minding puppies from 4 months old and up, rescue dogs, and dogs with disabilities, and we strongly believe in prioritising not just routine, but overall wellbeing—both physical and emotional.
Our pug, Toby, is truly our baby and the heart of our home. He is incredibly calm, friendly, and easy-going, and he enjoys welcoming new furry friends. He loves cuddle time and companionship, and his gentle nature has helped us build many wonderful friendships with the dogs we’ve minded over the years.
