For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Kilcoole for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Kilcoole Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Kilcoole sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi everybody,
My name is Corinna, I´m 28 years old and moved from Germany to Dublin with my partner in 2024. I´m a veterinary surgeon working in companion animal practice. Over the last years I have taken care of various animals like dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits...the list is endless. This involves also more difficult dogs, so don´t be afraid to inquire if you have one! Giving any kind of medication is also no problem.
I´m 100% reliable, very well organized and willing to give your pet the care they deserve. This involves regular updates for you, sticking to every agreement made and going to the vet if necessary or treating them myself (Hopefully not :) )
As a dog owner myself I know how hard it can be to find a suitable pet sitter, that´s why I want to offer my services.I´m happy to get to know you in advance in case you wish for that.
With us lives our dog Molly, a rescue Terrier mix from the NSPCA, so your dog should be social and accustomed to other dogs.
Looking forward to hearing from you :)

We’re a warm, dog-loving family living in a quiet cul de sac near Killiney Hill, perfect for long walks and playtime in nature. We have a small Yorkshire terrier called Luna, she’s a bit shy but very sweet and well behaved. Our 3 kids absolutely love dogs and would happily welcome more paws around the house!
We decide to mind dogs as a way for our kids to take more responsibilities. I work for home so they will never be alone at the house.
Whether it’s for a day, a weekend, or a holiday, your furry friend will be in a happy, active home with lots of love, attention, and walkies.
We only take one (max two if same owner) dogs at a time to keep things calm and personal. Get in touch if you’d like to come meet us (and Luna!) and see if it’s a good fit.

Hi I'm Megan and I'm a final year vet student. I am studying veterinary medicine in UCD. As you probably can guess I have such a passion for caring for and being around animals, especially dogs. I have extensive experience working with and caring for dogs. With my veterinary background I can administer medications if your dog requires any medication. I'm currently working during the summer in a boarding facility for dogs which I love so much. So much so that it never feels like work to me. I absolutely love being around dogs and getting to know their cute personalities. My goal when minding dogs is to ensure they are happy whilst you're away and get loads of love and walks. I love taking dogs on long walks or shorter ones depending on the dogs needs, or even a little trip to the park. There is nothing more rewarding than working with dogs in my unbiased opinion! Seeing them full of excitement before a long walk or before they get a well deserved treat, brings me such joy. I promise that I won't feed too many treats no matter how cute your dog is :) I would be able to house sit only due to the fact I have no garden in my student accommodation! At the minute my schedule is more or less flexible for the summer months. The services I offer is staying overnight in your home so that your dog doesn't have the stress of adapting to a new environment and can be comfortable in their own surroundings.
I can also pop into your house how ever many times that you would need if you required day time care for your dog, for them to have some fun and keep your loved doggo active and exercised while you're away !

Hi there! I'm Arina - a lifelong, passionate animal lover and experienced, trustworthy pet sitter.
I grew up in a home filled with cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural and joyful part of my life. Right now, I share my days with two amazing companions: a 6-year-old rescue dog and a wise 17-year-old cat. They've taught me patience, empathy, and the beauty of unconditional love.
Over the years, I've looked after pets all around the world - from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a gentler touch. My friends also trust me with their furry family members when they travel, because they know I treat every animal as if they were my own.
Whether it's long walks, cozy cuddles, or giving treatments and special care, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Please get in touch and I look forward to meeting you and keeping your pets happy, safe, and settled.

Hello! My name is Camila, and I offer a warm and inviting home for dogs to stay while their owners are away.
Our comprehensive pet care services encompass both day and overnight care for your furry companions. We prioritize the well-being and comfort of your pets by offering tailored services that include administering medication and providing training sessions upon request. With a maximum capacity to board two dogs simultaneously, we ensure personalized attention and care.
Daily activities involve four 30-minute dog walks, promoting exercise and mental stimulation for your pets. Our commitment to their welfare extends beyond scheduled walks; we adhere to a strict policy ensuring pets are not left alone for more than three hours during boarding and one hour during daycare. Despite our brief morning and evening absences for personal activities, the remainder of our day is dedicated to caring for the dogs.
Operating on a Monday-to-Monday schedule, our availability is consistent, guaranteeing continuous supervision for guest pets. Our home, characterized by its relaxed ambiance and spacious garden, provides a safe and comfortable environment. Co-residents include my partner, our small dog and myself, fostering a familial atmosphere.
Guest pets are welcome to sleep indoors or outdoors based on owner preferences. Our fenced backyard, equipped with secure gates, offers ample space for outdoor activities, ensuring the safety of pets with the option of utilizing a 10-meter leash for added security when unsupervised.

**Please, note that we can only accommodate small dogs in our house**
We are a couple living in a quiet neighbourhood in south county Dublin. No kids. We have a small dog, Nacho and a tortoise named Phillip.
Nacho is a neutered male, 4yrs old. All vaccines up-to-date and fully insured.
We have a big secure back garden (perfect for fetch!) and enjoying the sun (when it shines). We love animals and have always had dogs in our lives as children and adults.
We both work from home full-time and love the company of any animal. So your dog will have company / supervision all hours of the day.
We love spending time outdoors and live beside the beach and lots of parks and great walking / play areas.
Most days are spent playing fetch, hanging out, walking and having a relaxing evening.
Happy to send daily updates and photos.
We'd love to meet you and your pet and look forward to welcoming your dog into our home!

Hi, I'm Michael
I’ve been caring for dogs for over 3 years, and it’s something I genuinely love. Every dog has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know each one while making sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after.

I’m based in Shankill, surrounded by great parks and walking areas, making it the perfect location for enjoyable walks and plenty of exercise.

I offer a range of services, including dog walking, pet sitting in your own home, dog taxi services, and personalised care to suit your pet’s routine. Whether you need someone to walk your dog while you’re at work or care for them while you’re away, you can trust they’ll receive lots of attention, companionship, and care.

My goal is simple—to treat every dog as if they were my own and give you complete peace of mind while they’re in my care.
I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your four-legged friend. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange a meet and greet!
