For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Ballincollig for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Ballincollig Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Ballincollig sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hello, My name is Brian and I love dogs, I have a diploma in animal care and am a qualified dog groomer.
I have a dog grooming salon and a quarter of an acre of garden for dogs to play in while staying with me.
We have a large enclosed patio area where the dogs can come and go in and out of the house whenever they like.
I have a dog called Fergie and she loves playing with every dog that calls. She is a small terrier/westie that is 13 years old.
As I work from home I can bring my dog and any dog with me for four walks a day and in the evenings your dog is more than welcome to sit on the couch with us or in their bed next to the wood burning stove to get comfortable. I am qualified in animal care so any medication your dog needs can be given with without any problems.

My name is Gloria, I'm from Italy and I'm a resident of Ireland since 10 years. Me and my family are animals lovers, always had pets around the house (at this very moment we have our life time friends Ponyo and Toby, respectively 10 and 13, probably trying to get a treat out of one of us ️), and me and my brothers were introduce to animals when we were kids, so that we will learn how to be around them and how to take care of them. My mother is an animal activist, always being in the streets to advocate for their rights. Having pets not just introduced me to the Animal World, but also to relate to someone different to me. I could never imagine having a dog would be super fun. I will always be grateful to my mom and dad to bring Ponyo and Toby home as I couldn't imagine a life without them. ️ I miss my days in Italy where I would bring my dogs out for a walk in the stunning countryside. I'm familiar with dogs needs and I'm aware that they thrive the most in a routine, I can walk them, and take care of them for a certain length of time.I can bath them if needed and visit them at your home if you need me to.I know life can be busy and stressful, so if you are looking for someone that can walk your dog in Cork City, contact me, I'll be happy to have a chat with you and meet your pet for an assessment. Have a great day, Gloria

Hello! We’re Renata and Wilian, a Brazilian couple who started a new chapter of our lives in Ireland. We both grew up surrounded by animals and have always loved caring for them.
As we’re still discovering how long we’ll stay in Ireland and travel to Brazil each year to visit our family, we’ve decided that having a pet of our own isn’t the right choice for us just yet. Instead, Pawshake gives us the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of animals while giving them a safe, loving and comfortable home.
We welcome your pet as part of our family and will give them plenty of attention, affection, playtime and care throughout their stay. We respect every pet’s individual routine, personality and needs, and we’re happy to follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping schedules.
Your pet will never be left without care during their stay, and we’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
We’re responsible, patient and trustworthy, and we’ll treat your furry family member with the same love and care we would give our own. ️

We are based in Carrigaline and offer a home away from home for your four legged friends. Myself and my partner Phil have grown up with dogs and have a huge amount of experience with different breeds. Small and large. I am a primary school teacher who subs occasionally so it is great to fit something I love in on days where I'm not in work.
We currently have a Weimaraner/Lab X and a new Great Dane puppy that love the company of other dogs. We love them both to bits and know how important it is to have a space for you to send your family member when you can't be at home to mind them.
We are an active household and are happy to provide individualised care and support for your furry friends. We are lucky to have a dog park nearby along with plenty of beaches and walks to cater for everyone's needs.
We ask that all dogs are;
*Fully up to date with vaccines and wormers
*Toilet trained
*Dog friendly
*Males should ideally be neutered
House calls and walking services are also available.
Get in touch with any questions you have and we will do our best to get back to you asap.
Please note:
A meet and greet will be required before taking on any new clients.
All the best,
Karen, Phil, Nova & Cali
