I have always owned dogs, from small Maltese, to a Japanese Akita, and now I have Ffion who is a Dogo Argentino. I've had a lot of experience minding dogs in the past with a range of breeds from small to large, such as Border Collie, Springer Spaniel, Tibetin Mastiff, Cockapoo, Malamute and French Bulldog.&nbsp;

My husband and I both work from home so there is always someone here to look after your dog in the week. What does a typical stay look like?
On a weekday, there would be an early morning wake up and play outside in the large grassy area. While I am working from home your dog can sleep and relax during the day, and I will do regular check ins and playtime/cuddles throughout the day.Then in the evenings even more playtime and unlimited attention. I can feed your pup at requested times to match their regular routine at home.&nbsp;
At the weekends and summer evenings, we are close by to many forest and nature walks where I can take your pup out for a long walk.&nbsp;
Where will your dog sleep?
We can accomodate to your pup's needs and let them sleep where they would be most comfortable inside our house. Either in their own bed in a spare room, with us in our bedroom where our dog also sleeps. We also have crates of all sizes if your pup likes to have an enclosed safe space to sleep.&nbsp;
If your dog is nervous, I am more than happy to keep them away from my dog at all times. There is plenty of space for your pup to have a safe and calm environment on their own if they would prefer. Although my girl is a big friendly giant who loves to hang out with other dogs! Apart from the rare case of the zoomies, she is generally a very relaxed (dare I say lazy!) big goof who sleeps most of the day.&nbsp;

Back after a break to nurse my elderly rescue dog who has now passed away ️
With over 20 years experience with my own dogs, foster dogs and as a pet sitter I offer a calm and peaceful environment for your dog that a kennel just cannot provide. All dogs have access to every room in my home, the full range of a large garden and they are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time.
In my home there are 3 dogs, two tiny old ladies and one adorable pug, Guinness. 
I decided to return to pet sitting as I could never have my own dogs stay in a kennel. It is so difficult to find somebody to trust to mind your dogs and I am grateful for all of the people who recommend me to their family and friends, knowing that I provide a 5 star, loving service.
I have been a dog sitter on and off for over ten years. I have also fostered over 45 dogs for many different rescues including Clondalkin Animal Aid, Cara, Dogstrust and The Haven Rescue. I have usually fostered females and cared for them pre and post spaying, preparing them for their new forever homes with basic training and medical needs... and lots of love, of course. Being around dogs is such a rewarding experience for me. 
The atmosphere in my home is one of calm, there is no constant barking that you find in kennels. At night time most of the dogs that stay here feel better if I place their beds in my bedroom, some feel even better sneaking onto my bed.&nbsp;
I have a number of returning guests that need daily medicine and that is not an issue.

I have experience with many breeds and I am especially comfortable handling large dogs, so you can feel confident leaving your pet in safe and capable hands.

I live in a spacious home with a large backyard and garage area, giving dogs plenty of room to relax and play. I also share my home with my own dog, Kyra. She is a 3-year-old Pocket Bully who is neutered and extremely friendly. Kyra is used to being around other dogs and cats and loves having company in the house.

When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like part of the family. I make sure every dog gets two walks a day, as Kyra herself is very energetic and loves being outdoors. Along with walks, your pet will receive lots of attention, affection, and a calm environment where they can feel comfortable and safe.

My husband also helps me with the dogs, so there is always someone around to give them care and supervision. We have cameras in the house for safety purposes, which adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind.
