For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Kilpedder for a home day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Kilpedder Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer home day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Kilpedder sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi, I'm Michael
I’ve been caring for dogs for over 3 years, and it’s something I genuinely love. Every dog has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know each one while making sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after.

I’m based in Shankill, surrounded by great parks and walking areas, making it the perfect location for enjoyable walks and plenty of exercise.

I offer a range of services, including dog walking, pet sitting in your own home, dog taxi services, and personalised care to suit your pet’s routine. Whether you need someone to walk your dog while you’re at work or care for them while you’re away, you can trust they’ll receive lots of attention, companionship, and care.

My goal is simple—to treat every dog as if they were my own and give you complete peace of mind while they’re in my care.
I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your four-legged friend. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange a meet and greet!

Hi all! I'm Martin from Chile. I've been in Ireland since March 2024 and has been a great experience. I love animals and for me being in this app would help me to transmit and feel the genuine love of a pet being so far away from home.
What is your motivation to be a pet sitter?
I’ve always had a deep love and connection with animals, having grown up with a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, turtles, and hamsters. As a firefighter, I’ve participated in numerous animal rescues, which strengthened my compassion for animals and my ability to care for them in different situations. Pet sitting allows me to combine my love for animals with providing peace of mind to pet owners, ensuring their pets are safe, loved, and well-cared for while they’re away.

Do you have previous experience?
Yes, I have extensive experience caring for my own pets over the years and working with animals in rescue scenarios as part of my role as a firefighter. I understand how to meet the needs of different animals, whether they require exercise, medication, or just companionship.

Do you only take vaccinated pets into your home?
I don’t take pets into my home because I live in a shared house. Instead, I offer care in your home, ensuring your pets stay comfortable and secure in their familiar environment.

I'm from Dublin and a married father of 2 daughters aged 7 and 12, and a 2 and a half year old Bernadoodle named Heidi. I've used Pawshake several times over the past 2 years for Heidi and she has got on great every time. She is very sociable with both other dogs and humans including children. She has a lovely temperament and will not be of any issue sharing her space with your dog. My two daughters are all also very passionate about animals and particularly love playing with and meeting other dogs when we are out and about. I'm retired and a full time parent so I'm around all day to take care of your pet. I also worked in the racehorse industry in Kildare and North Yorkshire when I was younger as a stable hand, gaining some considerable experience and training at the time in animal husbandry. When I go out, Heidi comes everywhere with me in my car and so will your dog, so you can be sure that your dog will have plenty of company. On the other hand, if you have an old or quiet dog, Heidi is also very chilled at home so your pet can chill out too if desired! I take Heidi for walks in local parks twice a day; once in the morning and once at night and my daughter also takes her outside to play in the apartment complex. I also have a balcony where she can step outside whenever desired. I offer overnight boarding, 1 hour walks with collection and drop off if you live within 10km of me, and daycare too from Monday to Friday.

Dog mom with a soft spot for rescues — my own small collieXcorgie, Gus, is proof With plenty of experience, patience, and energy, I'd love to care for your dog like one of my own. Living in Stillorgan area. Available locally most weekends for walks, cuddles, and adventures. Usually, I bring Gus for hikes or beach walks over the weekend. Maybe a dog friendly café for a pupaccino Would be open to dog sitting also.Gus is roughly 3 years old. He is fully vaccinated and very pet/human friendly. I unfortunately can only take doggos that are fully vaccinated. Gus is neutered. Ideally, I would do a meet and greet with your dog and Gus to ensure both dogs are comfortable together.Check us out on over on IG: Gusophercolumbus_colliex where we share our adventures and for some insight. Feel free to DMs us on there or on here. Thanks!
