Hello, Paul &amp; Michelle here. As a way of introduction, allow me to share a story with you: &nbsp;
Three Years Ago - Late one Tuesday night, our Dog, Daphne, went into labour. By 1am early the next day her breathing intensified, contractions were underway. We stayed by her side, rubbing and encouraging her — she was about to give life. Soon after her first born arrived, stillborn, or so we thought. Michelle picked up the lifeless being and rubbed her vigorously until she whimpered — She was alive!&nbsp;
Daphne was a tough little cookie, a Trojan!&nbsp;
Six more pups followed, one by one. By 8am it was over—seven new lives entered the world—all female—not a single male in the litter. May be some type of record.&nbsp;
The Litter - Now let me introduce you:&nbsp;

Harley — The firstborn and the smallest&nbsp;
Daisy — Stunning, with silky smooth brindle fur and white socks&nbsp;
Bertie (Big Bertha) —The loudest and by far the biggest in the litter&nbsp;
Chloe — Unlike her siblings she stood out with her tan and white coat&nbsp;
Willow — Small like willow with similar brindle fur&nbsp;
Sootie — All black, with random brindle specs around her paws&nbsp;
Lily — All Black too with white paws&nbsp;


Wait, there’s more .. The litter was too big for tiny-Daphne to feed so all seven hungry souls were hand-fed every 3 hours from 3 weeks old, until they could eat alone. In the months that followed we secured forever homes for 5 puppies and kept 2 - Bertie &amp; Chloe.&nbsp;
More About Us - Michelle &amp; I have both grown up with Dogs, Cats and Horses our entire lives so love ‘em all, big and small. We have vast experience with all sorts of animals, from German Shepherds to Chihuahuas, even Ponies and Horses. We’re part of a great community of dog owners, extending across our family and friends, which means that all our events and gatherings involve 6-8 or more furry-folk for fantastic-friendly-frolics!&nbsp;
Our Pack - Last year we moved to a new home in Kildare on several acres of land, along with our pack – Daphne, Bertie and Chloe. Also, a few months ago we brought Paddy the Cob (Horse) into the fold.&nbsp;
We live beside the 5,000-acre Curragh Plains. Our own private gardens extend several acres right outside our front door (pictures available), so plenty of off-leash fun time to be had here. We work from home too, so adult supervision is on demand 24-7.&nbsp;
Your dog - will never be left alone and will enjoy 4-8 hours a day outdoors to suit their energy levels. Our pack sleeps in their own beds in our bedroom with plenty of room for more! We also have a large-crate for visiting dogs who prefer to sleep alone. FAQsGENERAL - About our services
Q1) What’s included in the services? 

Overnight stay, food exercise &amp; we can administer medication to pets.&nbsp;

Q2) How many dogs do we board at the same time? 

Typically 2, occasionally 3 i.e. in situations where we have 2 Dogs from one family + 1 Dog from another.&nbsp;

Q3) How long are your dog walks? 

Dog walks are 30-45 minutes twice daily, although Dogs tend to be outdoors for 3-4 hours a day during the summer months, supervised of course.&nbsp;

Q4) How many dog walks per day?

Q5) So how much time do we spend with guest pets?&nbsp;

Pets are supervised by an Adult 98% of the time. On occasion, Pets are alone for no more than 2 hours during dog boarding, which is rare, once or twice a week if at all.&nbsp;
We both work from, so pet care fits into our daily &amp; weekly routine.&nbsp;
Our availability is quite flexible, 7 days a week.&nbsp;
We can supervise guest pets 24/7 if required.&nbsp;

LOCATION 
Q6) What about our home and residents?&nbsp;

Our home is a large bungalow on several acres of land&nbsp;
Three family members live at home year-round, myself and my wife Michelle and our youngest, Jake (16). Our Daughter, Taylor (19), is at University. &nbsp;
We also have 3 Dogs and a Horse.&nbsp;
Guest pets sleep indoors and are allowed to sleep in a Dog bed in our room to bond with us, or if preferrable in their own bed in a spare room i.e. if they prefer to sleep alone.&nbsp;
We have a large backyard, in addition to large side and rear lands which are fenced. Also, entrance gates arelocked and secured, only opened for access in and out.&nbsp;

Hi! My name is Giorgi, I am an avid dog lover who recently moved from Dublin into the countryside of Kildare. I'd love to own 100 dogs but for now I just have my girl, Ffion. I have always owned dogs, from small Maltese, to a Japanese Akita, and now I have Ffion who is a Dogo Argentino. I've had a lot of experience minding dogs in the past with a range of breeds from small to large, such as Border Collie, Springer Spaniel, Tibetin Mastiff, Cockapoo, Malamute and French Bulldog.&nbsp;
I have certificates in Animal Care and Dog Psychology, and have a huge interest in dog training which I have done extensive research, so I am very familiar with dog behaviours and I can provide the best care for your pup.&nbsp;
If you are looking for someone to look after your pooch, then I am perfect! We have a cosy home with just under an acre of garden which is fully fenced. My husband and I both work from home so there is always someone here to look after your dog in the week. Your pooch will get all the cuddles, play and fuss when they stay with me.&nbsp;Whether you have a calm pup or a high energy pooch, I can cater for any type of dog and meet your dogs needs.&nbsp;
What does a typical stay look like?
On a weekday, there would be an early morning wake up and play outside in the large grassy area. While I am working from home your dog can sleep and relax during the day, and I will do regular check ins and playtime/cuddles throughout the day.Then in the evenings even more playtime and unlimited attention. I can feed your pup at requested times to match their regular routine at home.&nbsp;
At the weekends and summer evenings, we are close by to many forest and nature walks where I can take your pup out for a long walk.&nbsp;
Where will your dog sleep?
We can accomodate to your pup's needs and let them sleep where they would be most comfortable inside our house. Either in their own bed in a spare room, with us in our bedroom where our dog also sleeps. We also have crates of all sizes if your pup likes to have an enclosed safe space to sleep.&nbsp;
If your dog is nervous, I am more than happy to keep them away from my dog at all times. There is plenty of space for your pup to have a safe and calm environment on their own if they would prefer. Although my girl is a big friendly giant who loves to hang out with other dogs! Apart from the rare case of the zoomies, she is generally a very relaxed (dare I say lazy!) big goof who sleeps most of the day.&nbsp;

About Me

Hi, I’m Emer  I work hybrid Monday to Friday, which means I’m home a good portion of the week to spend time with our dog, Winnie. I live with my partner, and together we share a love of animals. Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and ducks, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life.

I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages — from playful puppies to wise seniors. I’m confident supporting dogs with additional needs, including those who require medication. I also have experience with basic training, including lead walking and core obedience commands, helping to build confidence and trust.

When I take in dogs, I make sure I can be home with them — meaning your pet will have 24/7 supervision, attention, and care.




Our Home

We live in a cosy two-bedroom cottage in Donadea, with a secure gated entrance, a large enclosed garden, and a spacious yard. The garden has plenty of shrubs and trees, which Winnie treats as her own personal obstacle course!

We’re lucky to be near some wonderful walking spots — Donadea Forest, the canal Greenway, and Castletown House &amp; Gardens — so your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and adventure during their stay.

If your dog stays overnight, they’re welcome to sleep in the kitchen or sitting room, either in their own bed or crate (whatever they’re most comfortable with).

I also mind dogs in their own home and find this is the least disruptive to the dog's routine. 

I can provide a pick up and drop of service also if you want to add that option to your booking.

A Few Notes

 For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and comfortable around another dog (our Winnie).
 I only take one guest dog at a time, so your pet has my full attention and plenty of space.
 A meet &amp; greet can be arranged beforehand so you and your dog feel at ease.

Hello! My name is Ella, and for as long as I can remember, my family has always had pets. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. Over the years we’ve had bunnies, chickens, dogs, and cats, so I’m very comfortable around all kinds of animals and personalities.
Growing up, we had two Springer Spaniels called Jack and Jill. They were gorgeous dogs, and I spent so much time walking, playing with, and training them. After they passed away, we were heartbroken and decided to go for a completely different breed — now we have Margo, our miniature dachshund.
