I'm motivated to be a pet sitter quite simply because I love dogs and cats - and other animals very much. I can do animals, I can't do people (with a few exceptions)!
I grew up in the rural village of Whitechurch in County Cork, where we had German Shepherds and Collies. I currently live in Cork city, so I don't really have enough space for a big dog to live. Therefore, it'd be like a hobby-job for me, to take dogs and cats for walks, petting, groom, house sitting and general pet fun.&nbsp;
I love running around with animals. I can easily keep pace with smaller dogs and puppies, however, bigger/faster breeds such as German Shepherds, I'd use a bike so as to keep pace with them.&nbsp;
My experiences with pet sitting with pawshake.ie have been entirely positive, which I imagine will continue. It's the new year, I'm a teacher, so I have plenty of availability. I have references, Teaching Council certification and Garda Vetting (pun not intended) should you wish to see this.
I'd ideally only care for pets who are vaccinated, but if it's for walks, then unvaccinated dogs are fine. I'd take at most four pets at a time.


I’m offering dog walking, pet sitting in your home with my own transport. I have studied animal care, Professional Dog care and Dog Grooming. I have been around 50-60 dogs at a time working at Doggie Day cares and Animal care centres so I have no fear of any breed, I am just finishing a grooming course so in the mean time I would like to offer my doggie services. I have extremely good knowledge on dogs body language, Dog handling, socialisation skills and training. I have been studying animals since leaving school and they will be in the best care possible with me. Having studied and worked with dogs for the past 10 years I have great knowledge of the Welfare of Dogs and what they need. I have been around every type of breed and every temperament and love them all the same️&nbsp;
I have experience in oral medication and treating dogs if they have any sort of routine or medication to take. I have experience with all ages senior to puppies and will be open to any age.
I have 3 dogs myself at home so would offer services in your own home if needed, providing Dog Walking, Pet Check Ins and House sitting. I can't wait to meet you and your dogs/Cats.

We are based in Carrigaline and offer a home away from home for your four legged friends. Myself and my partner Phil have grown up with dogs and have a huge amount of experience with different breeds. Small and large. I am a primary school teacher who subs occasionally so it is great to fit something I love in on days where I'm not in work. 
We currently have a Weimaraner/Lab X and a new Great Dane puppy that love the company of other dogs. We love them both to bits and know how important it is to have a space for you to send your family member when you can't be at home to mind them. 
We are an active household and are happy to provide individualised care and support for your furry friends. We are lucky to have a dog park nearby along with plenty of beaches and walks to cater for everyone's needs.
We ask that all dogs are;
*Fully up to date with vaccines and wormers 
*Toilet trained
*Dog friendly 
*Males should ideally be neutered
House calls and walking services are also available.

My name is Robyn and I have good experience being around dogs. We adopted Rodney, our hound cross, three years ago. Being around Rodney has given me experience with large energetic breeds. If your dog needs a play date to keep them occupied we are happy to introduce you and your pet to Rodney. 
I'm living in Blackrock but have a car - the car is set up to safely take dogs so if your dog needs to be transported to their walk I can provide this service. 
The odd time my partner, Ed, might join for walks. 
I am currently available during the day and in the evenings. 
I'm happy to meet you and your pet before agreeing to take on the service so you can make sure I'm the right fit for your pet. 

Dog walking: I can walk your dog in your local area, or if necessary transport them to a safe walking space. 
Home visits: I can spend 45-60 minutes with your dog in their home, feed them, play in an enclosed garden, let them out to the toilet.

I used be be a foster for DAWG so I have ample experience with all the different characteristics dogs have to offer. I am also patient and attentive, making sure pets are comfortable in my home or in their own familiar environment.&nbsp;As can be seen in my photos. I have a large fully enclosed garden for them to run around in. Ialso have multiple dog beds for them to rest, but have absolutely no issue when sleeping on couches or in bed with me. They have lived in my family home in Spain ever since, so I’ve spent most of my life living with cats and taking care of them. Myself &amp; my wife Lorna lived in Auckland, New Zealand for 3 years. While there we were petsitters for Pawshake &amp; it was one of the best experiences, we had many repeat clients who we miss terribly. We were thrilled when we realized Pawshake operates in Ireland too &amp; that we would have the opportunity to continue petsitting here. We have now been petsitting for 7 years &amp; we adore it.
If we were looking after your pet you can be guaranteed they would have our undivided attention &amp; care for the time we are with them. As active people who love to keep fit dogwalking is the perfect excuse to get out for some fresh air. We would offer a maximum of 1 hour long walks with possible trips to a beach or park on the weekends. We have experience with older dogs, dogs that are not quite lead trained &amp; administering medications. We have looked after may animals, from cats &amp; dogs to chinchillas &amp; bearded dragons. During home visits we would stay for a maximum of 45 minutes making sure everything requested for this time is complete. During home stays we will look after the house like it is our own, always leaving it the same way we found it. We can also provide many reviews and feedback from our clients in New Zealand &amp; Ireland.
