About me,
My name is Michael, I have a black and white collie called missy which I love very much. Sadly my Missy has passed away since i opened my business, very badly missed and buried in my back garden, died suddenly in my arms of a heart attack. I am semi-retired and self employed. I was a handyman but my brother suggested that I was gifted with dogs and should consider caring for pets at home. So i have started a dog boarding business at my home. I have a very secure fence around my large garden and a one acre field with a track which I used to walk my late dog missy. I have looked after both my niece's dogs a golden retriever and husky in past few years and have greatly enjoyed it.I have nearly four years eperience minding dogs.
About my services:
Home Boarding- I will be with your pet 24/7, I walked missy for 25 minutes every morning and evening on my private track and will do the same with your pet. it is a very safe space for your pet, no risk of contact with strange dogs or traffic. It homes wild rabbits in the summer and I let the dogs run on the lead if they get a scent for a bit of fun for them. I have a large canopy covered at back of house to provide shelter with lots of open kennels for your dog to rest or shelter during the day, and very cosy beds in the house to sleep in at night. Please supply your pets food and favourite toy, you can drop off and collect your pet between 9am and 8pm monday to saturday, and 10am to 6pm sundays.
Daycare- I will be with your pet at all times while it is in my care and will treat it like my late dog missy. I will walk your pet if you require me to. You can dropoff and collect your pet between 8am and 7pm.
Meet And Greet:
From Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm. and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Please bring your pets Health Care Card and an emergency contact number, thank you.

I brought my puppy, Austin, to stay with Mike for 5 nights. My puppy was only 4 months old, so I was a little nervous, but he was in great hands. Mike really has a love of dogs and it shows with the treatment he gives. We got regular pics of our little guy and what he was up to, which made the separation a lot easier.
I'd highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a dog sitter, and we'll no doubt be back again.
We left dug with Mike for four nights while we went on a trip. Dug knew him from a stay pre covid. So we felt he would be fine. Mike's a kind man and does care about dogs. But this stay was different then the last. We had to reach out to Mike for updates and pictures where as before he sent them with out us asking. To the best of Mike's efforts Dug didn't eat a full meal during his stay. Once home from picking him up he slept the rest of the day. He was covered in mud underneath, his bed stank and we have discovered a scab from a wound on one paw. Don't know if it was missed as there were many other dogs or what. But now he seems to be limping from it.
So though Mike is a nice man and had a good property for daycare, I wouldn't recommend staying multiple days overnight.

I was upset to hear that Dug had a paw injury, he showed no signs of any injury while here. He must have tread on a big thorn in the field, I would have treated him if I noticed it. He as very happy while here, chasing the ball for hours and playing with the other dogs. Regarding his not eating I did inform you on the third day regarding that issue, and I carried out your instructions exactly, when that didn't work I offered to give him some of my tinned food and you declined that offer. I apologize for the smell from his bedding he must have rolled in fox poo and at my age I am a bit nose blind. I didn't take any photos first two days of his stay as weather conditions were very bad here and I explained this when I sent photos on the third day. I do wipe the dog's down at night but you collected him around mid day and didn't think of cleaning him, I hope he is fully recovered from his paw injury, God bless,,,Mike.
