When you have to go away or work long hours, you may worry about leaving your pet home alone. Have you ever wondered “Is there a pet or dog sitter in Bray that can help?”.

Luckily, with Pawshake, you can easily find local and trusted pet and dog carers from Bray to provide drop in visits and other services. This means a pet sitter will come and visit your pet at a time you both agree on and provide lots of love and personal attention. This can include playtime in the backyard, a walk to the local park, or just some cuddle time. Our pet carers can also administer medication, give food, and refresh the water bowl.

In home pet sitting services are a great way to break up the day and enrich it for your pet. Pawshake pet sitters have extensive experience caring for a range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and more. If you have multiple pets, home visits are a great option to ensure that they all get a visit and lots of attention during the day.

Drop in visits are the least stressful option for your pet because your pet can stay in their favourite environment – their own home in Bray. Their surroundings will be familiar and our loving and passionate Pawshake sitter will spoil them each day. Our sitters will treat your home with respect and are flexible with timing, requests and durations. All this can be discussed before you make a home visit booking.

Pet boarding is a great option for when you are away for a few days and your pet needs overnight care. Unlike pet hotels, Pawshake pet boarding allows you to arrange a personalised daily routine for your pet, whether this be extra belly rubs, playtime or 24 hour supervision. Your pet will stay with the pet sitter in a cosy home environment, rather than a large, impersonal pet hotel.

So whether you need just one day, a week or even a month, you’ll be able to find an experienced pet or dog carer to accommodate you and your pet’s needs in Bray. The best part is that your Pawshake pet sitter is from your local neighbourhood, so they will be familiar with the area.

Our pet carers also have a range of experiences which include puppies, seniors, nervous pets and dog training. So if your pet has special requirements, you’ll be sure to find a pet sitter that is a good match for you.

Your pet’s safety and welfare is a big priority for us, which is why all of our Pawshake pet sitters undergo a strict vetting process by our trust and safety team. At Pawshake, we understand that you might feel a little uneasy allowing a pet sitter to enter your home or arranging pet boarding at their place. This is why Pawshake pet sitters also have reviews from other pet parents that are publicly available on their profile for you to read.

Each pet sitting home visit and pet boarding booking made through Pawshake is covered by the Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer support 7 days a week and more. Rest easy knowing that your pets will be well looked after by one of our expert pet carers in Bray.

Hi, I'm Ruth, myself & my two young adult daughters run a long-established home-from-home home boarding, pet sitting & dog walking service for Small Dogs in Enniskerry Co. Wicklow. I consider myself very lucky to do what I do because I love animals, and I'm extremely conscientious with excellent references.

My home is your dog's home from home. It's a very chilled out calm and happy and safe home with a large safe enclosed fenced garden & we are big softies and avid animal lovers. I dog walk 365 days of the year & the weather doesn't put us off...it only adds to the fun!

Your dog lives, eats & sleeps here in my home exactly how they would in yours, so if they sleep on the sofa by the stove in your house, they do that here too.... We mountain hike for one good hour a day & do another shorter evening walk in the woods. I can also offer a local pick-up & drop-off service to facilitate handovers.

I home board for long or short stays and have had dogs stay with me for anything from one night to our longest boarding resident of 5 years and counting! We also pet sit in your home, moving in with your dog for minimal disruption to their routine as well as maintaining the security of not leaving your home empty while you're away.

I offer dog walking or homeboarding services to small dogs.

I offer a bespoke service, and my aim, above all, is to make your experience easy and stress-free for you and your pet, just let me know what works for you and if I can oblige, I will.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have as I'd be more than delighted to chat with you about your pet and their needs. I look forward to meeting you

I’m a lifelong dog lover and experienced sitter who knows just how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I share my home with two playful dachshunds, so I’m very familiar with the fun personalities and unique quirks that dogs can have. Living with them has taught me patience, consistency, and the joy of making sure each dog feels loved and secure.
I understand that every dog is different. Some love long walks and endless games of fetch, while others simply enjoy curling up with a warm blanket and good company. I take the time to follow your pup’s usual routine, whether that’s walks, mealtimes, or bedtime cuddles, so they feel comfortable and settled.
Communication is important, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, giving you peace of mind that your dog is relaxed and happy. When your pup is with me, they’ll be treated just like family.

My services include walking dogs, day visits and overnight stays at your home.

I absolutely love dogs and have built a wonderful routine centred around keeping them happy, active, and thoroughly exercised. My specialty is taking pups on exciting outdoor adventures, whether it's hiking through scenic nature trails, exploring wide-open local parks, or enjoying an energetic run along the beach. I make sure every outing is filled with fun, safety, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation tailored to each dog's needs.
To ensure absolute control and maximum attention for every dog, I never walk more than 3 dogs at a time. I constantly monitor the pack dynamics to ensure everyone is having a positive experience. I make sure to plan our routes carefully, choosing trails that match the energy and fitness level of each dog in the group.
I am highly patient and experienced with various dog behaviors—whether a pup is high-energy, a bit anxious, or prone to pulling. If we encounter unfamiliar dogs or stressful situations on the trail, I calmly redirect their attention and create a safe distance. I always keep you updated with quick messages and photos during our outings. Your dog's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities!

I’ve always loved cats and dogs, and they usually like me too! I grew up surrounded by pets and have cared for animals since I was a child. I’ve had two dogs and seven cats, which has helped me understand that every pet has its own personality, habits, and needs. I know that some pets are more energetic and playful, while others may be shy and need a little more patience and attention.
I have experience walking dogs, keeping them entertained, playing with them, and teaching simple tricks using treats, like giving a paw. I always try to create a calm and positive environment where pets feel comfortable and loved.
When caring for your pet, I will make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I will treat them with the same kindness and respect that I would give to my own animals. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away.
