Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Dublin home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Dublin.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Dublin home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I dog sit for my neighbours lovely Cocker Spaniel, Reggie, and always enjoy being around pets whether they're lively or prefer their own company, you can be assured I'll play with them, feed them, or bring them for a walk.
The reason I pet- sit is that I can pay for my educational expenses and healtcare costs. Ive always had a special love for animals so it doesn't feel like work most of the time!
I'd love to keep your pet company, you can guarantee I'll take good care of them and make sure their needs are met! If you need me to walk your pets too, I would be more than happy to accommodate that!
If you ever need your dog, cat or pet to be walked, minded, or kept company, I am always happy to accommodate that! I accept vaccinated and non vaccinated pets.
Alicia.

Hello, I'm Enrique, I'm from Mexico.

In Mexico I have two beautiful cats, named Misha Grisabella Ramírez Morales, we only call her Misha and Gordonio Rigobertho Ramírez Morales, we only call him Gordo. We love them with all our souls and it is a pleasure to live with them every day. I am currently living in Dublin improving my English and I miss them very much. It will be a pleasure to take care of your canine or feline family members or any kind. From a very young age in my family we have adopted many puppies, kittens, we have also had hamsters, parrots and turtles, in Mexico I lived on a farm so I also lived with cows, goats, chickens, frogs, lizards, rabbits, squirrels and other animals that were around, In general I am an animal lover. Today we have had these two kittens for 12 years, which is why I consider myself an expert in kittens since each cat is a world, each with a very different personality.
Of course I also love dogs, and I also have experience taking care of dogs. I like to play with them, take them for walks and have a good quality time with them.
Actually I am living in Dublin 9, I am available from Monday to Friday since 7:00am until 11:30am and since 5:00pm to 12:00pm and on weekends I am available all the day.

My name is Patricia Bento, I am 40 years old, originally from Amazonas, Brazil, and I have a degree in Computer Science. I have been living in Dublin since September with the goal of improving my English. I am studying at SEDA College and currently, I am at the C1 level in English. I am a calm person, patient, and a good listener.I have always had and enjoyed animals; in my home, there have been cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and ducks. Over the last 9 years, I've cared for, spayed/neutered, and rehomed more than 20 cats. In October/November 2021, I volunteered to take care of Golden Galeto, the pet of digital influencers Lorenzo and Vanessa. I used to have a dog named Lois Lane, but now I only have 4 Cats in Brazil and I really miss them.I have a lot spare time in the afternoon and evening so I thought of take care of someone else pets. I am available to spend the afternoon during the week with your pet and/or visit your pet or take it for a walk.

Have a nice day ️

I have always loved dogs and feel a deep connection with them. Caring for dogs brings me genuine joy and fulfillment, which is why I am passionate about being a dog sitter. I understand that every dog has its own unique personality, routine, and needs, and I strive to provide attentive, patient, and loving care tailored to each individual pup.

Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. During walks and visits, I focus on providing both physical exercise and positive interaction, adapting activities to suit each dog’s energy level and preferences.

I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their beloved companions are being well cared for. That’s why I am committed to being reliable, responsible, and communicative. I provide regular updates, photos, and messages so owners can enjoy peace of mind while they are away. I am also prepared to follow specific care instructions and respond calmly and responsibly should any unexpected situations arise.

Being a dog sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives. My goal is to create a loving, comfortable, and stress-free environment where every dog feels cared for, secure, and valued. Dogs inspire me every day, and I look forward to meeting new furry friends and seeing plenty of happy tails wagging soon.

Animals have always played a very meaningful role in my life, and working as a pet walker is something that connects directly with my passion and sense of purpose. I genuinely enjoy being around pets, and I understand how important daily walks are not only for physical health, but also for a dog’s emotional balance, mental stimulation, and overall happiness. My main focus is always to provide safe, enjoyable, and attentive walks that respect each dog’s individual personality, energy level, and routine needs.

Back in Brazil, I had three dogs named Zeca, Theo, and Nina, who are still my greatest love and inspiration. Living with them and taking care of them every single day gave me hands-on experience with all aspects of dog care, including feeding routines, daily exercise, behavior observation, training reinforcement, and emotional support. Through them, I learned how each dog has a unique personality, communication style, and level of energy, which taught me to be more patient, responsible, and observant. They also helped me understand how important consistency and affection are in building trust and stability with animals.

This daily experience over the years strengthened my knowledge of canine behavior and deepened my passion for working with dogs. I became very familiar with reading body language, recognizing signs of stress or excitement, and adapting my approach depending on the dog’s needs. Whether it was helping a nervous dog feel more comfortable, managing high-energy playtime, or simply providing calm companionship, I learned how to respond in a way that makes the dog feel safe and understood.

I consider myself patient, reliable, and very attentive, always prioritizing the safety, comfort, and well-being of every dog under my care. I am confident handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and I always aim to create a positive and trusting relationship with each one. I also believe that reinforcement of good behaviors through consistency, calm guidance, and positive reinforcement is essential for a balanced routine.

In addition, I understand the importance of communication with pet owners. I always make sure to provide updates and feedback so they can feel reassured and confident that their pets are being cared for with responsibility and affection. For me, working with animals is not just a job, it is something I truly love, and I bring dedication, respect, and genuine care to every walk and every interaction.

My name is Patricia and I’m 21 years old, and have always had a pet at home. Ever since moving to Dublin 3 years ago I've missed taking care of my pets and going on my daily walks. I love dogs for always being there for me and making me happy, and I love to do everything I can to make them feel loved and special. Since I don't see my pets daily anymore, I would absolutely love to take care of others by taking them on walks to explore. I believe getting a pet means doing everything in your power to make them have the best life possible. That's why I prioritize my pets over anything.
I have plenty experience taking care of dogs and cats. Not only have I taken care of my own pets, but I sometimes dogsit my brother's dog and many of my friends' dogs. I believe I have a deep understanding of dogs and their emotions.
I am available to take any small dogs on up to 2 hour walks.
