Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Rathgar who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Rathgar neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Rathgar dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi there!!

My name is Yureicy I'm currently a masters student here in Dublin and I also work in a school I consider myself an animal lover and now a pet sitter with a passion for dogs and cats. My care approach is respectful and positive, ensuring every pet feels loved and comfortable.

- Cared for my own dogs (13 and 2 years old) and walked/minded several others back home ‍🦺
- Focus on positive reinforcement and fun, stress-free walks.
- Leash-based outings to prevent pulling and allow socialization and play.
- Understand common behavioral traits, dietary needs, and the importance of a safe, clean environment.
Currently, I'm not taking dogs into my home, but I'm happy to come to yours for a personalized experience. I'm available on weekends and some weekdays, and we can find a time that works for both of us.
Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! ️

Best wishes 🩷

Hello, my name is Átila Rezende Martins, I'm Brazilian and I'm studying English here in Dublin. I have always worked in rural areas, living with large and small animals. In January 2025 I will bring my dogs Beca and Guta, two Jack Russells who are almost 2 years old and have a lot of energy and love to give. It would be great to be able to take them for a walk with other little friends. Until then, I will be very happy to take care of your little animal. I can take your pet for a walk on the street and in the neighborhood parks, if necessary I can also go to the pet's house to provide food, water and administer medication, I take the opportunity to arrange plants and collect correspondence. Tours and visits can take place in the afternoon and evening and last approximately 1 hour. My level of English is elementary at the mome. See you!

Hi there, I'm Ailis I'm a passionate and enthusiastic animal lover with over 6 years of pet care experience. I offer personalised care, tailored to your dog's unique needs, ensuring they receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise. Whether it's a playful walk in the park, a cozy cuddle session, or administering special dietary needs, I am dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for your pup. As a pet owner myself, I will aim to treat your dog like my own, giving you peace of mind while you're at work or away on vacation. I'm available for daily, evening and weekend walks, home visits and overnight stays if needed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to organise a meet and greet. Look forward to meeting you and your little pup ️

Hello, welcome to my Pet Sitter profile! ‍
I worked as a veterinarian in Brazil, since 2018. I also have previous experience as a pet sitter.
I have always been passionate about animals and in contact with them. I believe they can teach us many wonderful things and we are very lucky to have them in our lives! I would be extremely happy to work with animals again!
My tasks as a pet sitter can be during the afternoons and early nights in D6, D6W, and D4 - Other locations can be discussed - and Include:
• Dog Walking,
• Cat/Dog sitter at your house.
- washing and filling the bowls with food and water;
- Providing positive playing time;
- Clean and fill the litter boxes;
- Much love, respect, and fun!
- Watering your plants when required. However, I don’t have green toes.
Ps: This is a gesture of kindness, unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for the health of your plant. but I promise to offer my best to her too!

Hello, my name is Mariana and I am definitely a pet lover.
I've always had animals at my house since I was a child, nowadays I have two cats in Brazil that I rescued booth from the street and I already had other rescued cats. I always provided what my pets needed: going to vet, bathing them, helping with the application of medicines and the necessary care for the well-being of our puppies.
My biggest motivation is the love for animals and being able to spend time with them. I'm on the app to take care of your pet and give him affection as if he were mine, with companionship, interaction, fun and care.
🦮Dog walking: around 45 - 60 min. You can show me the route you normally do with him/her.
Home visit: around 45 - 60 min. Includes feeding and changing water, cuddles, brush and games.
Unfortunately I can't host pets at my house, but I'll be glad to pick up and drop off your dogs for daily walks or take care of them at your home.
And you do not need to worry, I will be happy to send photos and a report during the service.
If you have any questions, please contact me. I would love to meet you and learn more about your pet.

I’m a dog owner who regularly looks after two family hounds, one Kerry Blue and one Cocker Spaniel. However, given that I am away from the family home for the next two months, I have plenty of free time, so would love to help out to help finance my next year in college and some travel plans, all while expanding my network of canine chums. I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and I just love spending time with them, as often they are better company than any people could be! If I could add your dog to my summer routine, I would be thrilled and I promise to care for them as if they were my own!
I will be based in the Terenure area for the next couple of months, so I am very happy to go anywhere in the area (even if not completely adjacent) to help! My main service would be dog walking, and I should be available from morning until evening, whenever you are in need of my service. I am an experienced dog walker and love heading to parks to wander around, so it would be great to have a dog with me for company! Whether your dog needs a short stroll or a longer walk, I am happy to cater for whatever his/her exercise needs are, no problem at all.
I would also be very happy to provide home visits/house sitting services, always being respectful of your property and leaving no trace behind me. Whether you would like me to drop in for a couple of hours, or spend the whole working day with your pet, I would be very happy to do either or anything in between, and of course if plants or post needs taking care of I can do that as well.
Overall, if you choose me to look after your beloved pet, whether to go on a walk or keep company during the day, I would be more than happy to assist, and will do everything I can to keep your dog happy! As I say, I have lots of free time coming up, so whenever I can be of use, I would be delighted to help, and I look forward to hearing from you. Please do not hesistate to contact me if you have any more questions or require any more information! Have a wonderful day!

I will walk with him through the beautiful parks of Dublin.When I hear your bark I already know that happiness is waiting for me at the gate.Our modern lifestyle does not always allow us to dedicate the time we would like to spend leisure time with our pets. And yet we know how important it is to take daily walks with them due to countless factors and benefits. Many end up having the only option to leave the pet trapped in apartments and reduced environments throughout the day! And this choice ends up having very difficult consequences, such as the animal's sedentary lifestyle, stress, obesity, depression or even hyperactivity.No time to walk your dog? No worries about it, I'll do it!!Walk BenefitsProvides physical healthImproves dog muscle toneImprovement of the immune systemPrevents obesity Reduces stress and Calms them downPromotes sociability
