I don’t have the opportunity to have pets at present due to small house and garden, but I would care for your pet/s with genuine affection.&nbsp;I have experience in pet sitting and walking dogs (with large / giant dogs as well).The dog walks would consist in a long walk (at least 4 km) in the morning and/or in the afternoon. I have been passionate about animals my whole life. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by all kinds of creatures—horses, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats—which gave me a deep appreciation and love for every animal. My motivation to be a Pet Sitter comes from wanting to continue this lifelong connection, caring for and spending time with furry friends, and ensuring they feel loved and happy. I have hands-on experience walking and looking after dogs for neighbors in Brazil, taking them out for exercise and attention while their owners were away. I've always been passionate about animals, I remember that as a child my wishes for Santa Claus were always for a puppy. My first little animal was a bird, called Mel, which in English means honey. She was very cute and always sang songs with my mother and me. When I was 18 years old, I rescued a kitten on the beach, who is still my first baby cat. When I turned 20, I got a puppy, the son of the dog my sister had. It was the best experience of my life. My cat took a while to get used to it, but then they became best friends. In 2021 I rescued a kitten that was on the sidewalk outside my parents' restaurant and now she is also part of the family. After the second rescue, I joined a constitution, called Cão Ajuda, that helped homeless animals, with water and food, we raised money at events. After the animals were cared for and vaccinated, we continued with the adoption process. This is my journey with animals, and I'm sure there will be more in the future.

I am passionate about dogs and have extensive experience in canine behaviours, gathered over several years of study. This knowledge allows me to better understand the needs and behaviours of dogs, ensuring personalised and attentive care.
It also makes me highly alert to any potential risks that may arise during walks - such as encounters with other dogs, busy streets, or unexpected situations. Because I understand how deeply a negative experience can affect a dog, I care deeply about shaping positive, safe impressions of the world around them.
Whether your dog is big or small, puppy or senior, I have the sensitivity to handle them in the best way.
My 30min walks don't necessarily last 30 minutes. The duration will depend on what's the most appropriate for your dog, it can range from around 40 minutes for older dogs to up to 2 hours for those with athletic capacity.
As our walks progress, I gradually gain more freedom to introduce some basic exercises during the outings, if that's something you're interested in.
When hiring someone to walk your dog, it's crucial that they know at least the basics about canine nature; otherwise, your dog may develop negative habits even if the person has the best intentions.
Additionally, i am married to a veterinary doctor, which provides me with valuable support in situations beyond behavioural issues.


My name is Thays, I'm 28 years old.
I was 3 years old when I got my first dog from my parents, his name was Rex and he spent eleven years as my best friend. Between these years, I had other pets and recently a miniature pincher that I miss a lot. I had the most diverse experiences with animals: helping with childbirth, dealing with illnesses, caring after neutering, discovering allergies that required specific food and sudden loss of animals.
I know how special pets are and are part of our family, only those who have or have had one know. They do more for us than we can do for them. I love being among the animals, taking care of them, and watching them play, it makes me very happy.
I've recently moved to Dublin, I don't have a pet yet so I'd like to be around and help out with other animals.
I had the experience of taking care of two cats and three dogs while their owners were away. With my experiences, I am well aware of the pain of those who hand over their beloved pet to someone else and I am careful to follow the rules, schedules, respect the animal's behavior and keep the owners informed with photos and videos so that they can be calm.
I can administer pet medication.
I cannot host pets in my house, but in the owner's house I accept up to 5 pets at the same time.
