Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Mulhuddart who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Mulhuddart neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Mulhuddart dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

Hi! My name is [Your Name], and I’m currently a student living in Ireland. I’m looking for a part-time job as a dog walker or pet sitter. I’ve always loved animals — I have two lovely cats back home in China, and they’ve been a big part of my life.

Although I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve helped friends walk and care for their dogs many times. I’m responsible, patient, and happy to adapt to each dog’s individual needs, whether they’re energetic or shy. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outdoors.

My class schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, but I’m flexible outside of that and open to discussing a time that works best for you. Whether it’s regular walks or occasional help, I’d love to support you and your dog.

Feel free to reach out — I’d be happy to meet you and your furry friend!

Hi my names eoghan I'm Irish and I live at home. I have had dogs and cats my whole life. My dad used to have kennels out the back but unfortunately they are gone now. I've always had a dog or cat in my life. Until recently. I don't have any dogs or cats now as it doesn't suit me. Where as taking care of one would suit me down to the ground. I'm kind and caring and would take care of your pet as one of my own.
I am available afternoons and evenings every day except Sunday.
I can give medication to pets.
I can groom them.
I offer home visits and can stay for as long as needed. I can water plants and bring in your mail. I know how to operate an alarm system
I can walk your dog for an hour a dog do it locally to your residence.
Thanks eoghan

Hello fellow pet parents!
I’m a passionate pet sitter dedicated to offering safe, loving care for your dogs. Growing up with dogs and having a veterinarian brother in West Virginia, I’ve learned exactly how to keep pets happy, healthy, and safe.

My daily routine focuses entirely on your pet’s specific needs. I offer energetic 30-to-60-minute walks to burn off steam, followed by engaging playtime with their favorite toys.

A major benefit is the massive, fenced off-leash area available for our property tenants. This secure space allows for safe, unrestrained runs and play sessions, maximizing their fun and ensuring they burn off plenty of energy.

When it comes to feeding and medication, I am precise and stick strictly to your schedule to maintain their routine. I am experienced with various personalities, knowing how to handle shy pups needing gentle reassurance or active dogs needing extra stimulation.

I ensure they feel completely at home with plenty of cuddles and a comfortable environment.

Safety is my priority, so I only accept vaccinated pets. I treat every dog like my own family, sending you regular photo updates so you can relax while you are away!

Hi,
My name is Marta. I am an active women, huge animal lover.
I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. Dogs, cats, birds, fishes and sheep. Having pets have always been important to me. My husband Paul, often joins me on dog sitting/walking assignments. We have nearly always had pets (6 dogs during a time, birds and fishes) throughout our lives. I don’t have the opportunity to have pets at present due to small house and garden, but I would care for your pet/s with genuine affection. I have experience in pet sitting and walking dogs (with large / giant dogs as well). The dog walks would consist in a long walk (at least 4 km) in the morning and/or in the afternoon. I am available to do home visits, few hours day care or dogs can be minded at my home if needed. Overnight stays at your home can also be discussed.
Trusting someone to look after your much loved pets can be rather daunting and I would hope that by communicating with me, your apprehension could be allayed. I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you via WhatsApp, meet your pet beforehand and see you both, if that suits.
I respond to any message sent to me as soon as possible. I speak English and Polish.

I have been passionate about animals my whole life. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by all kinds of creatures—horses, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats—which gave me a deep appreciation and love for every animal. My motivation to be a Pet Sitter comes from wanting to continue this lifelong connection, caring for and spending time with furry friends, and ensuring they feel loved and happy. I have hands-on experience walking and looking after dogs for neighbors in Brazil, taking them out for exercise and attention while their owners were away. I am also very attentive to pet care: my own dog is always clean, vaccinated, and receives regular veterinary check-ups to stay healthy. I approach every animal with patience, kindness, and responsibility, making sure their wellbeing is always my top priority. Being a Pet Sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with my dedication to their care, creating happy, safe, and playful experiences for pets and peace of mind fortheirowners.

I am passionate about dogs and have extensive experience in canine behaviours, gathered over several years of study. This knowledge allows me to better understand the needs and behaviours of dogs, ensuring personalised and attentive care.
It also makes me highly alert to any potential risks that may arise during walks - such as encounters with other dogs, busy streets, or unexpected situations. Because I understand how deeply a negative experience can affect a dog, I care deeply about shaping positive, safe impressions of the world around them.
Whether your dog is big or small, puppy or senior, I have the sensitivity to handle them in the best way.
My 30min walks don't necessarily last 30 minutes. The duration will depend on what's the most appropriate for your dog, it can range from around 40 minutes for older dogs to up to 2 hours for those with athletic capacity.
As our walks progress, I gradually gain more freedom to introduce some basic exercises during the outings, if that's something you're interested in.
When hiring someone to walk your dog, it's crucial that they know at least the basics about canine nature; otherwise, your dog may develop negative habits even if the person has the best intentions.
Additionally, i am married to a veterinary doctor, which provides me with valuable support in situations beyond behavioural issues.

My name is Thays, I'm 28 years old.
I was 3 years old when I got my first dog from my parents, his name was Rex and he spent eleven years as my best friend. Between these years, I had other pets and recently a miniature pincher that I miss a lot. I had the most diverse experiences with animals: helping with childbirth, dealing with illnesses, caring after neutering, discovering allergies that required specific food and sudden loss of animals.
I know how special pets are and are part of our family, only those who have or have had one know. They do more for us than we can do for them. I love being among the animals, taking care of them, and watching them play, it makes me very happy.
I've recently moved to Dublin, I don't have a pet yet so I'd like to be around and help out with other animals.
I had the experience of taking care of two cats and three dogs while their owners were away. With my experiences, I am well aware of the pain of those who hand over their beloved pet to someone else and I am careful to follow the rules, schedules, respect the animal's behavior and keep the owners informed with photos and videos so that they can be calm.
I can administer pet medication.
I cannot host pets in my house, but in the owner's house I accept up to 5 pets at the same time.
I offer 2 walks a day for 30 minutes or 1 hour.
I am available morning and evening every day.
If you have any questions or want to know more, I hope we can talk :)
