I'm motivated to be a dog sitter quite simply because I love dogs very much. I can do dogs, I can't do people (with a few exceptions)!
I grew up in the rural village of Whitechurch in County Cork, where we had German Shepherds and Collies. I currently live in Cork city, so I don't really have enough space for a big dog to live. Therefore, it'd be like a hobby-job for me, to take dogs for walks, petting groom, house sitting and general canine fun.
I love running around with dogs. I can easily keep pace with smaller dogs and puppies, however, bigger/faster breeds such as German Shepherds, I'd use a bike so as to keep pace with them.
I do not as yet have experience of dog sitting with Pawshake.ie but hopefully that'll change very soon. It's the new year, I'm a teacher, so I have plenty of availability. I have references, Teaching Council certification and Garda Vetting (pun not intended) should you wish to see this.
I'd ideally only care for dogs who are vaccinated, but if it's for walks, then unvaccinated dogs are fine. I'd take at most three dogs at a time.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
James was a fantastic minder for our gorgeous Lady. He was so kind to her, sent lots of videos and took her for long walks and stayed with her for cuddles. some fellow dog owners who had met James with Lady commented to me how good he was to her. I have no problem recommending James to mind your dog. his communication was excellent and nothing was a problem for James
