I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, at one stage my family home had 7 dogs (all rescues) which we all adored.

I have 2 samoyeds of my own that I've had since pups and I treat them like my 2 sons. The love is real.

I was a dog groomer for 3 years and find huge fulfilment in meeting and greeting dogs from all walks of life, everything between XXL and XXS. I was the groomer that welcomed the massive dogs in that would take 4 hours to groom because I cuddled them half the time, as well as the little frightened ones that I knew well how to settle them into the groomers and usually the next time they couldn't wait to come see me.

I volunteered at a dog sanctuary for a further 1 year that trained special needs young adults on how to bath, groom, walk and play with dogs. Which was a truly magical experience where I got to witness first hand the importance and beautiful nature of humans with dogs and what that can achieve in itself.

I've always been and always will be grateful and blessed to be able to say I've done such amazing things with dogs and helped adults really connect that might otherwise not had the chance.

If I can walk dogs in my free time (which is a lot recently) then I'm the lucky one :)

I live right beside Portmarnock beach and also an off leash walk area (if the owner is ok with off lease). I have transport to pick up and drop off (if the pupster is ok with cars) and I'm fit and healthy to walk however many miles the owner/the doggo needs. I also have my own 2 dogs that I'm happy to bring any dogs to my own for a playtime (my fat dog will play with any and all moving creatures as long as he can keep his breath up) Jokes, we shouldn't joke about his weight, but he does love being called 'fatboy' :)
