We are an active, dog centred home! I am a mam of three grown up children who live in the home and love animals. I have experience with all kinds of breeds - from small to mid size dogs, especially ones who like walking and adventures. Beagles, Bischon's, cross breeds, labs and more. I Am also experienced with some medical issues in dogs (skin, joints, ears, stomach) and can administer medications if required. Only one dog or dog family taken for overnight stays so your pet pal will get 100% of the attention.
I have rescued older mid sized dogs from rescue centres for the last 20+ years. Ive rehabilitated them and given them a safe loving home. Unfortunately the last one passed on very quickly and I cannot bring myself to own another dog Quite yet. But my home is full of love and patience for dogs, with a medium sized fenced in secure garden and a room to sleep in or call their own while they stay. Theres a crate option (shown) or not, depending on the dogs needs. Some dogs like to have a secure place they can go by themselves - we have a room dedicated to that. Or if not they can cuddle on the couch or use the pet bed in the family room. If they like car journeys we can take off on adventures (we have a secure dog safe travel harness (shown) - if not Daily walks are essential as well as lots of affection. I am home all day and walk twice during the day minimum. Walks usually are between 2-5km, each walk. The dog will not be alone. Your dog Must be toilet trained. And there's no sleeping in human beds. sorry 🐕 Im here all day with the dog so they will never be lonely. This is one on one care. In a loving, experienced, family environment.
