About Pooja
Hey there!🐾
About me: Being born to two veterinary doctors, I have been around most of the dog breeds and almost all kinds of animal since I was kid. My husband and I work from home most of the time so plenty of time for walks and cuddles.
About my place: We live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with an enclosed courtyard play area and Cualanor park next to us with plenty of area for walks and play. However, we would prefer to walk them on leash atleast for first few days as the place will be new to them and they can sniff away!
My Experience: I was an Animal Care and Adoption Volunteer back in India for 3 years where I helped with rescuing , fostering , doing background checks on potential adopters as well as training new pet parents on animal behaviours. I have had dogs and cats in my family all my life and have experience in pet sitting Guinea pigs, rabbits etc.
What you can expect: We would like to do a meet and greet before confirming any bookings so that we both have better understanding of the expectations so I am going to ask tons of questions to understand your pets eat-play-sleep routine.
We are flexible with our schedule can tweak it based on your pets routine. They can sleep anywhere in the house or in their own crate if that's how they sleep at your place.
I know it will be hard to be away from them so I will be sharing daily WhatsApp updates so that you can enjoy your vacation in peace knowing they are having a staycation too! We also post regular updates on our Instagram handle - holdmypaws.
Please note: We can only take in neutered and friendly dogs as we live in a very pet friendly neighbourhood.

Pooja and Dinesh have minded our ten year old springer spaniel Buckley a number of times and we couldn’t be happier with the service. They are both so kind and have a clear love of animals. They always keep us updated with loads of pictures of him and he has the best time 🥰
First time I’d ever left my dog with anyone and was very nervous, as he is only 5 months old. Pooja and her partner couldn’t have been better dog minders. My dog couldn’t stop staring out of the car window on the way home, and i felt as though he missed them after his short stay. Pooja always sent video and photo updates.
