I am a huge dog lover 🩶. I grew up with a basset hound and foster dogs for dog rescues. I also used to volunteer at the dspca when I was in college.

In August 2023, I fostered and subsequently adopted a dog called Twinkle from the Dublin County Dog Shelter / Dogs Angels. She is a Staffy mix and has a lovely calm temperament. She's a little nervous around some dogs (especially high energy ones) so when minding dogs I would keep her separate. We have two living rooms and a garden so this is not a problem.

I recently moved from an apartment into a house (pictures will follow on my profile shortly). I live right beside meadowvale which is a very big green area and great for walks. When minding dogs I can walk them in the morning, lunch time and after work. I would also walk them separately to Twinkle.

Having fostered dogs with very different behavioural problems, I have learned a lot from the trainers we attended. I can use the skills that I've learned to help any other dogs that I walk / dog sit.
