I have a few years' experience dog sitting for neighbors and family friends, and recently spent time with a new mom dog who had had puppies a little over a week prior! The owner called me 'observant' and 'vigilant' for how I handled the 7 little friends.
I have experience not only taking care of my own kitty (the Tabby you see in the photos!), but also watching multiple cats for a previous college professor of mine!
When I was about 16, I owned two little gerbil friends, and cared for them extensively. I've also watched guinea pigs for neighbors as well!

As far as watching plants goes, I grew up helping my mom and dad with their garden, so I find quite a joy in sticking my hands in dirt and nurturing plants. I have quite a few of my own that I'm hoping to find good homes for before I leave. 

I don't think I could live my life without surrounding myself with animals! There is something so rewarding in seeing a dog smile up at you as she feeds her puppies, or a cat choosing to sit on your lap. I will aim to treat your furbabies just as well as I treat mine- like royalty!
