Hi, my name is Jackie. I am 53 and have had cats and dogs most of my life. I have a twelve year old terrier named Bailey who is quite used to other dogs staying in my home.
Five years ago I gave up working in accounts to care for my dad full time.
When my friend who had always looked after my dog when I went on holiday couldn't mind him for work reasons, I began to search for another sitter which is how I came across pawshake. So after my father's health declined requiring 24/7 care, I decided to try dog sitting and found I really enjoyed the experience.
I live alone with my dog so offer a relaxing and quiet home for the older dog to chill out after a Walk. As he is getting quite old, he doesn't have the energy to play with pups so no enquiries for dogs under two. He does not get along with pugs or French Bulldogs.
My apartment is on the first floor with no lift so it may not be suitable for some dogs with a physical disability.
I live close to Dublin Airport and directions from M50 very simple and less than ten minutes.
After the initial enquiry I insist on a meet up to make sure all dogs are compatible and to learn more about them.

Jackie was prompt in her communication from early on and during the boarding. She sent updates by text and pictures which was appreciated. Our dog is not the easiest and Jackie looked after him with care and empathy. She was fantastic. Thank you Jackie.
Thank you Jackie for looking after Rusty again for me. !
I can give oral medication and ear drops.
