Hi, we are a couple who love dogs and caring for them. I am 46 and I love most animals especially dogs & birds. ☺️

I grew up in a house filled with animals , dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, and birds of all shapes and sizes. 

I got my first dog, Toby a Jack russell when I was aged 4. I trained him and every dog since, I have had many different big and small dog breeds over the years. My love of all animals means I have kept many different pets over the years including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, chickens, rabbits, bees and fish. 🐈‍🦜🐝🐢🐍🦎🦔

I began house sitting and dog walking in Boston USA when I was in my early 20,s as my sister has run a dog walking/Sitting business for over 30 years. When we moved to our new house in 2020 we began to foster dogs for local rescues in the Munster area.

We am very passionate about rescuing dogs, training them and helping them find loving and safe homes. 2 of our rescues are now living in Sweden. 2 in the Uk. One which returns to us for his summer holidays lol. and the others are all around Ireland.

We know letting your pet with a sitter can be stressful, so we will make sure to keep you updated if you wish with pictures & videos so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your dog is in good hands.

We do not run a kennel service, we open the doors of our own house so that we can be a home away from home for your pet. All we ask is that your dog is house trained, good on the lead and does not have excessive barking or howling. We live in an estate so we have to be respectful to our neighbour's as well.

Days with us include:

Breakfast & dinner served at usual feeding times.

Leisurely walks in mornings & evenings. Relaxing in the garden in the summer or on the sofa inside during cold wet days. (fully fenced in, of course).

Playing with toys and our own collie Milo or Foster Axel. Simply lounging on the couch next to us while we watch tv and snuggle in the evenings. Or whatever your pet wants to do which makes them comfortable and feel safe and relaxed.

We have lovely open areas, wood walks and beach walks within a 10 minute drive.
We meet and greet every pet ahead of time so they are familiar with us and the house & our own dog. We feel all parties need to be comfortable with each other to make the stay a pleasant one for your pet. 

Every pet staying here will have full unrestricted, fully supervised indoor-outdoor access to their hearts content as the back garden is completely fenced in and secure.🏡

Every pet under our care gets constant supervision, attention and love. We have cameras all over the house to monitor things when I am working in the office. My wife is also working from home most days so dogs are either in one room with her or office with me lol. 

Services and Costs;

*Please take into account that Pawshake takes 19% of the income to protect you and your pet in case of emergency. ie vet fees etc.

Dog Walking (30 - 45 mins ) - 15 € - 7 € for each additional dog.

Dog Boarding (24 hours ) 40€ discounts available for multiple days & wk rates. ( We only take 1 dog at a time but can accommodate 2 small to medium dogs on request if available)

#If drop-off is at 11/12am pick-up should be at 11/12 am on the last day, any time over this will be additionally charged.

House Sitting (24 hours) - (3 pet maximum) €55 ( when available )
