My name is Jhon Prato and I love animals because they are simply amazing! Especially dogs, they just make everything better. Growing up surrounded by dogs, I developed a deep understanding of their unique behaviour, needs, and unwavering loyalty, and now that I have more space in my home I would love to be able to take care of different breeds and see their personalities shine. As an avid dog lover, my motivation for pet sitting stems from the joy and fulfilment I experience when caring for these incredible animals.

During a dog sitting session, I prioritise the well-being and happiness of the dog in my care. Here's how I typically approach it:

• Safety first: I ensure that the environment is safe and secure for the dog, removing any potential hazards or dangers.

• Routine maintenance: I stick to the dog's regular feeding, walking, and bathroom schedule to maintain continuity and reduce stress.

• Exercise and play: I engage the dog in regular exercise and playtime to keep them physically and mentally stimulated, whether it's a game of fetch, a walk in the park, or simply spending time together.

• Affection and companionship: I provide plenty of love, attention, and affection to make the dog feel comfortable and secure in my presence.

• Monitoring health: I keep an eye out for any signs of illness or discomfort and promptly address any concerns by contacting the owner or seeking veterinary care if necessary.

• Updates for the owner: I keep the owner informed about their dog's well-being and share updates, photos, and videos to provide peace of mind while they're away.

• Respect for the dog's preferences: I respect the dog's individual preferences and quirks, whether it's their favorite toy, preferred sleeping spot, or specific dietary needs.

By following these guidelines, I ensure that the dog enjoys a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience during their time in my care.
