Hello! I'm a local to the D6W area, I love spending time with pets as they bring me a lot of peace of mind. I've had three very different cats in my life, all of whom I have adored. I'm especially motivated to look after dogs since I love to ramble and often wish I had the company of a dog (we never had dogs growing up so I played a lot of virtual dog-owner games to fill that void!). I thought pet sitting would be a wonderful way of getting more dogs into my life I hate to see any animals suffering and have brought in many an injured bird from the garden.

During college I looked after a little boy and often walked the family dog Daisy, a happy-go-lucky King Charles, and I miss the special feeling of walking with her and the bond we created. I also have plenty of experience looking after the dogs of my friends and family whenever they go away for a while. When I do this I usually send photo or video updates to show ther're doing just fine, and I'd be happy to do the same for you if you like! 

My own cats have had periods of frailty and illness, especially going into old age, so I am familiar and comfortable with caring for pets who need a little more care and attention. I am not intimidated by bigger or more energetic dogs! Cat or dog, I believe every animal has their own distinct personaltiy and deserves to be well-cared for.

I will happily walk your dog (or cat, if you're lucky to have one who likes it!) however much it needs, I'm an experienced hiker so long walks are no problem to me! 

Unfortunately I can't bring pets to my own home, but I can organise my own transport. If you are going away for an extended time and would be concerned about your pet's loneliness, I am happy to spend the night depending on your location.
