I have recently moved to Dublin and see pet sitting as the perfect way to fulfill my desire to spend time with and around animals while making some extra money.
Unfortunately my current apartment does not allow pets, which is why I cannot do pet boarding or day care. Since I cannot have pets of my own in the short-term I am eager to take care of yours.
As a child my family had 2 Yorkshire terriers, who have both sadly passed on in the last 5 years. We also adopted 2 small cats about 10 years ago. These pets have left an impression on my heart and formed the person I am today.
I haven't been in the right space to have my own pets yet, however I have had a fair amount of experience taking care of the pets of friends and family. In addition to my parents' pets I have dog-sat for my cousin's two medium-sized dogs for significant periods when him and his wife have been away.
I am a software developer, and therefore am able to work from home and therefore be with your pets more often. I am also a semi-keen runner (I've done a few half-marathons, nothing longer) and would be eager to run or walk with your dogs as best suits them.
