Hello!

I'm Justin and I'm in the first year of my PhD at RCSI. I'm from Virginia in the U.S. and moved to Dublin last year. In Virginia, I have a 16 year-old Shih Tzu named A.J. that I grew up with and miss dearly! I also loved frequently taking care of neighbours' and friends' pets.

I can't wait to start pet sitting again in Dublin! I adore animals and I'm excited that Pawshake gives me the opportunity to take care of pets here. As a post-grad student, my schedule also allows for the flexibility needed in this job so that I can adjust my schedule around what best suits your pets needs.

I'm happy to help with walking, visiting, or staying with your pet for as long as they need. I have experience delivering medicine to pets including medicine applied to the ear, eye, skin and orally.

For a little more detail on my past experience taking care of animals, my family's 16-year-old dog has some health issues and is a wee bit grumpy (rightfully so). He requires a lot of attention and before I moved I was his primary caretaker by giving him eyedrops every day, cleaning up after him in the house, and taking him on frequent walks. Last year, I also spent a month pet sitting for two big dogs and a cat. These dogs required two long walks a day, special food mixtures, and medicine. Last year, I also took care of my professor's three dogs for two weeks. These included two young and energetic dogs (a poodle and a great dane) and one old, medium-size dog (a mix). These are just a few examples of the pets I've taken care of recently. I very much enjoy getting to know pets through pet sitting and have gained lots of experience.
