Hi, I'm James!

I joined Pawshake after it was recommended by a friend as I love animals and also walking. The Pug pictured (Bella) is the family dog in Westmeath, and joining this service offered the opportunity of getting to be around animals and having a partner for walks. Have also spent time helping on a thoroughbred horse farm, and worked in a wide variety of jobs both in professional/formal settings and also as casual labour (packed in the desk work for being on the feet and the outdoors). Currently employed part-time as a Gardener and Handyman in a respite centre, where hours are flexible, so I can work around both your and the pets needs.

Animals were a fond part of growing up for me. Dogs, Goldfish, Hamsters and Horses in particular. We had two Yorkshire Terriers, Two Terriers and the pictured Bichon Frisé (Lucy) and Pug. Horses were also kept for a few years. Have never been a cat owner yet am fond of them too!

Available for: 
Dog Walking - walks of around 45mins, and if possible I would walk along a river/canal or visit a park. 
Home visits - can also water plants, bring in mail etc and can discuss any other requests you may have!
