Hello!
My name is Becca and together with my partner Dan and (neutered) labrador cross Jackson, we would love to help you take care of your dog.
For Dog Walking
Exciting walks are guaranteed! I take the dogs walking on the local beach (Bull Island), up the Dublin Mountains, and to the local parks to play fetch and other games! Happy to do some reinforcement training with your pup, but please note, I only train using food rewards and repetitive positive reinforcement. I may take my own dog with us, depending on if they enjoy each other's company, but happy to walk without him too!
I do expect dogs to be well-behaved on the lead - it's okay for them to tug a little to say hello! Relatively good recall would also be appreciated, though happy to keep them on the lead at all times!
I can collect and drop off. Please do let me know if they struggle with car journeys and I can plan the walk accordingly!
For Dog Boarding:
Very flexible for dogs with separation anxiety. 24/7 care, tons of attention, fun walks, fully flexible on where they sleep and lounge (no need to sleep alone if anxious).
Disclaimer: Dogs of all sizes are welcome! Unfortunately, because we have a dog ourselves, we cannot take an aggressive dog. A dog that is a bit standoffish and likes its space and boundaries respected is fine, as Jackson will back off if he's not wanted, but we can't take a dog that could physically attack and bite him.
Myself and my partner, Dan live in Fairview with our dog, Jackson. We are both very kind, patient, and calm people. As dog owners ourselves, we find it incredibly hard to Jackson when we need to go away (we only have two family members we trust!). Because Jackson is a rescue, he can't be left alone for even ten minutes at a stranger's house or he will get stressed! As such, we completely understand how unnerving it can be for a dog to be in a new environment - I will work with you to cater for your dogs needs!
We have rescued multiple dogs and other animals both separately and together over the years and both truly understand dog behaviours and needs. We go for 2-3 good walks every day. Most days we go to the beach which is ten minutes away. In the Summer, we go on hikes in the local Dublin mountains (occasionally before or after work, but especially on weekends!). If it's raining or very bad weather, we take them to the park next door to play fetch and socialise with other dogs (if they are comfortable in doing so!).
Our dog Jackson sleeps downstairs at night (occasionally sneaking up to our bed), but if your dog is very anxious, I am more than happy to set up their bed in our bedroom so they don't feel alone.
We have a small/medium backyard out the back of our house where they can sniff about, play, and do their business. Though Jackson refuses to go to the toilet there, so rest assured they can be taken out at regular intervals for toilet breaks too. It is fully enclosed with very high walls/fencing, but isn't really big enough for a medium dog to play fetch, unfortunately!
Jackson is a very nice dog - a dog's dog if you will. He can be quite enthusiastic, but will very quickly and happily be put in his place if the other dog is uninterested. Nonetheless, sometimes it's nice and reassuring for a dog to have a doggy pal when their usual family pack are apart for a couple of days. He is a big boy - a labrador crossed with a small great dane. But a sweet-natured friendly fella.
Our house is small, but we can take large dogs - plenty of space for them to stretch out, and lots of time in the outdoors, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Becca and her family took care of our dog for 2 weeks. They treated her so well and Bella fit right in with the family and their dog.
