Hi I'm Sydney! I'm 28 and have been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up in the Kildare area and have lived in Canada for the past 6 years. In both countries, I have been blessed to be able to spend time with dogs. My life is very dog friendly, however my housing situation right now will not allow for doggie day care. Instead I am offering walks and house sitting, depending on availability.

I am an all round dog lover , but having lots of experience with larger breeds and strong dogs means you can count on me no matter what size your pooch is. A walk can range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on age, energy, ability etc. (Rate on profile is for 30 minute walk , 1hr walks start at €20. If you would like a walk longer than an hour please include that in your message. I currently have quite a few dogs I walk weekly. A German Shepherd, Rottweiler, my own mutt (bernese/Shepherd cross), Bernese Collie and a few smaller dogs too. So I guess you could say there's not much I can't handle !

You can be sure your dogs are in great hands when they're with me. We'll have a woofin good time and they will return home ready for a nap!

My energetic personality is a great match for dogs. Walks often include my own dog to tire your pup out with lots of play during our adventure! I'd love to offer my services when your schedule gets crazy. I have lots of patience and love to give to your pup while we're out!

I trained my dog Rufus myself and he has a great temperament. He loves everyone, other dogs and children. As far as experience goes, I have been dog walking for 1.5yrs and the 2 years of loving Rufus has been great and extremely rewarding. I was heavily involved in both family dogs growing up too. Our family dog now is 3 and I helped train her , along with getting her over her fear of water. We walk and adventure together regularly. Our childhood dog was also a best friend of mine. I have cared for friends dogs in my own home while living away, along with walking friends or neighbour's dogs while they were working or injured.

If your dog has any special dietary restrictions (treats/food given on walks), behavioral issues or problems with interacting with other dogs etc, just let me know and I'll be sure we are all safe and comfortable. I will always propose a meet and greet before the first walk with your pet. This ensures the dog can get familiar with me, get a feel for me and me for them, and gives us a chance to touch base and finalize expectations etc.
