I'm currently working towards the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) instructor qualification, and taking a Canine First Aid course. Long term I want to become a dog trainer running my own classes, so I'm hoping to get experience walking lots of different dogs.

Your dog will be walked individually (or with your other dog) - no group walks, as I prefer to give them my full attention.

I can collect your dog from the local area if needed, including if you're not home.. I prefer to use a harness if you have one available.

Dog walking

I'll walk your dogs whatever the weather - rain, wind or snow (or the rare sunny day), if they're happy to be out, I'm happy to be out! Usual routes take in the beach if it's low tide, or nearby parks including Ringsend Park, Sean Moore Park or Fairview Park. In cold or wet weather you'll need to provide a coat if your dog needs one.

I have experience with walking boisterous springer spaniels and pointers, as well as my own rescue dog, a small terrier cross. I'll walk any size or breed of dog.

I'm also happy to work with nervous, undersocialised or rescue dogs, as I'm calm and patient, and my own dog came to me extremely nervous. We may need a couple of meet and greets before nervous dogs are relaxed enough to walk with a stranger, please let me know and I'm happy to organise this.

Dog training

I can work on training your dog with basic obedience (sit, stay, recall, lead walking etc.) as part of my dog walking service. Please let me know if you have any other training requests. I can also do some limited 1:1 training.

I have trained my own dog to Kennel Club bronze and silver good citizen level, plus done agility training. We've also won a couple of best trick competitions!
